safety first bro.. consider the safety for the 7 people on board.. just change the front 2 first if you're tight on budget..

Not sure if it is michillen only problem. Mine also crack like that after 2 years. But with a lot of thread.

It is normal for XM2.
My previous XM2 had such signs and changed them after 4.5 years with plenty of thread left.
The tires have hardened and ride is very bumpy.
So I changed to a softer and quieter tires but thread wear won't be as long lasting.
But heck, I can't wear out the previous XM2 so no point to use such lasting tyres unless I'm a Grab driver.

it is normal to rotate (front back) the tyres for even wear and tear.

what is swee swee?

From the picture, the front tyre wear still look OK.
I think no need to rotate.
Don't worry about the tyre, it's normal for XM2 wear to look like this.
Your tyres are just 2 years +, just in mid life.
Enjoy your trip and don't worry so much.

I have the same situation like you. But my front tyres were 2013. Just changed it over the weekend. Now feel great driving back. The other two are 2014 and 2015 respectively. 2014 showing some of the symptom but not so much. 2015 still looks good.

maybe because of my working place is JALAN MATI , so everyday need 3 point turn 2 times a day ( lunch and home )
when turning the steering, only tire turning car not moving ....

Had XM2 and Premacy previously on 2 of my family rides, both having these stretched and tear marks which seem to be very common for Michelins.

The XM2s had them since year 2 or 3 until I replaced them on year 5 with still 20% of thread left. No obvious sudden increase of performance loss (dry, wet and braking) was felt when this happened except for looks.
