The first issue, Senna's McLaren design is pretty ugly. I mean the real car, not the model.
I will probably be getting some of the more modern designs.
Some F1 cars are ugly...

Actually not all MPH is selling the magazine.

Borders IOI City Mall putrajaya has only issue 1 and 2. Anybody knows if Kinokuniya has replenish the stock? Been there last Tuesday, issue no 3 is sold out
*
Really?
I got mine at MPH Aeon Wangsa Maju. I think MPH Melawati Mall has it too. Popular bookstores in the area might have them too.
I prefer to buy them at MPH because they are wrapped in plastic. Popular stocks are unwrapped and all piled up like lelong sale.

Thanks for continuing the list.
Unfortunately there is no Jaguar model, the green one during the 2000-2004 season. That is a pretty nice car.

im looking for this issue. but need to wait for it.
Issue 6: Ferrari F2002 Michael Schumacher (2002)
Issue 27: Sauber C23 Felipe Massa
Issue 29: Mclaren MP4/14 Mika Hakkinen (1999)

To wait till issue 27, 29 might take years...since only one issue is released every fortnight.
I also have a target list but some of them are so far down the list.

I've only managed to see editions #1, #2 and #3 so  far, and to be frank (and as mentioned previously), the cars aren't perfect. Everyone is unique with slightly misaligned decals, panels like wings, diffuser, front nose,  words printed on the wheels etc.

But heck at this price, its considered very decent. So before bringing it over to the cashier just look thru every option there is and get the best.
*
Yup, I look through almost every copy at the bookstore to get the one in "best" condition.
As a figurine collector I am rather particular about perfection.
But if you happen to get one that has imperfections, then consider it as racing scars/damage biggrin.gif

Kch guys,
wats the latest issue in town  rclxm9.gif

At bookstores it is only the third issue.
I thought a new issue will be out fortnightly but it is taking 3-4 weeks for a new issue to be released.

interesting. where you found it?
*
MPH Melawati Mall.
I think most of the MPH in KL should have it already.
Popular seems to be ditching the series. They only have until issue 2 and they are all chucked away in a mess at a corner.
Allscript doesn't seem to be adhering to the fortnightly release, making it seem like the interest in this collection is faltering already...at only issue 4.

I always see any cars with Martini decals are very beautiful and pleasing to my eyes. Hopefully Williams Martini Racing will be on the list of this series. Btw i really hate the f1 design nowadays especially with the bar over the driver pit. It kills the beauty of the car. Why dont they put the windshield just like Lemans car? I know its for safety purpose.

Will liquor company logos be removed from models?
This will make the models look quite plain unless they replace it with alternative decals like the Jordan's Benson & Hedges becoming Buzzin' Hornets.

People around mid valley wasnt realized and concerned how exciting this collection could be.  Around my area the model sold out macam pisang panas.
*
I have decided to skip issue 4 and 5.
Going for issues 6,7,9 and 10.
At RM40.00 each, have to be selective otherwise will take a toll on the wallet.

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Nov 1 2018, 04:07 PM)
I guess not, since itaipava, a beer company still appears on brawn gp car
*
Good to know.
So I guess liquor companies are still allowed to feature in sports.

And those who are buying from bookstores are still waiting for issue #6.
It has been 3 weeks since the previous issue.
This is not helping to keep the interest alive.
If they are not able to release the issues in a timely manner, people will lose track and just forget about it.

Seriously what is holding back issue 6 at the bookstores?
It has been delayed by a month.
I am about to give up on this collection if the issues are released so bloody inconsistently.

actually you can go directly to Allscript to buy the magazine from them. in Kch still stuck with #4
*
I know. There are forumers who have collected until issue 11 or so directly from their office.
But I live rather far from their office and I feel it is not worth the time, effort, and petrol to drive all the way there just to get these stuff. They are not necessities.
If there has been a delay in shipment, Allscript should have had the courtesy to at least make an announcement to inform collectors.
