QUOTE(wchsam92 @ Jan 24 2019, 01:28 PM) To those who are still unconvinced there are 2 variants of issue 6 Ferrari F2002. Here is more proof. Today I visited Popular Aeon Station 18 and there are 3 issue 6 left. 1 standard and 2 "double stacked" rear wing variant. ![]() ![]() The standard variant was used early 2002 season, from Brazilian GP. The "double stacked" rear wing is most similar to the one used at French GP, where Michael Schumacher drove to his 5th world title. |

The "double stacked" rear wing is most similar to the one used at French GP, where Michael Schumacher drove to his 5th world title. Whilst there, I had a look at the F1 cars, especially issue 6. I found what seemed to be 3 variants of that particular car. Differences were at the front and rear wings and end plates, barge boards and the number of antennas (or I assumed them to be antennas). Also differences to the engine cowling and colour scheme. Sorry for the poor photos. The cars are still in their respective blister packs. Attached thumbnail(s) |

I believe the fault lies with the publisher's packaging section. The 1st photo you upload actually not F2002, is F2004... Items in the boxes do not tally with the outside labels. For instance, for the De Lorean, boxes labelled issues 40-ish are actually issues 50++. They should have gotten issue 56 as the latest. But snuggled between those issues were one copy each of issue 57 and 58! |

i agree with strickermac, its F2004 because IINM F2004 is an evolution of F2002. so anyone who bought the F2004 is ahead of anyone else hahaha

What bum99my show us is No.1 That F2004 can't not be found yet at any official site. So what should it be? |

QUOTE(strikermac @ Feb 21 2019, 07:54 AM) But guys... one thing I don't get it... Think the distributor or somewhere in the supply chain, just source a model, (i.e. maybe due to supply shortage, etc) and inc them in the collection. Or the supplier (of the model) just ship the wrong model. Seems the alternative models appear inconsistently. The photo sample F2004 I uploaded number is No.2 at front of the car. Yup, if one single issue have 3 different types F1 cars should be nice.so probably its an honest mistake during the manufacturing process. But the magazine is focus on F2002 only. And if the stand plate is correct print it as F2004, then this F1 car is worth it. Or juz buy it then unscrew it and put it on other stand plate will done. |
