Redmi 6 Malaysia came with 5V2A Charger, but specs show 5V1A Charging?

Old thread, but the constant part is the 5V. 2A is the maximum current it can supply. In this case, your phone will only draw 1A from it, so it is perfectly ok to use.
Probably Xiaomi finds it cheaper to just manufacture one model of power supply for all its phones, then manufacture a lower spec once for certain models.
Edit: How's the Redmi 6? Planning on getting one for my mother-in-law.

hi, sorry for late reply, just found out there is reply, i am just scare that 5V2A Charger would have weaken or damage the battery lifetime.
Redmi 6 is pretty good, especially for its price.
