Why not you try and give some reviews. Mine using the so called original. Hold up good so far. Maybe try that when this battery degrade.

the snapdragon 845 itself is notenough reason to get an old phone for new nowadays
the Poco X3 with snapdragon 730G have a slightly better performance on daily usage
and also the Redmi Note 9 series also gave good performance compared to PocoF1

so i guess people are looking for over-all phones nowadays~

GPU side SD845 still powerful then SD7 series. If the CPU side newer SD7 series better. So depends on needs. Gaming better get last gen SD8 series while daily & light task get SD7 series.

New SD7 also on 8nm compared to SD845 10nm. Better get SD855 in my opinion if want last gen SD8 series(7nm also).

TRUE, my 2cents is to get the newer phones if you wana do as daily driver
older phones and flagships are great
but being future--ready-proof then getting casings, glass protectors, accessories, etc is easier\

pocof1 still gooding, but get a secondhand one should be easier and cheaper thumbup.gif
being cheapskate is fun

Poco apparently teasing the true successor of the F1. Rumor mill suggesting its gonna be a 700 series chip which I doubt its gonna be a genuine "true" successor.

SD888 not good even on 5nm node? Shouldn't it be more energy efficient?

This Snap888 is Qualcomm's 1st attempt on 5nm. Summore, it's on Sammy's foundry. So, it is bound to mediocre "quality". Next gen of 5nm should be the "lesson learned" released from Qualcomm.

Just predictions base on past history. Let's see how it performs when test done by some reviewer. It's Qualcomm top off the line product so there will be no other chip in it's line to say it just mediocre quality. Early test also show it's better than Kirin 9000 & Exynos 2100 which have the same 5nm process. Can't wait to see a proper shot out between them when all phone come out. Although Qualcomm have one advantage against it's competitors and that is developers usually support their chip more.
