Get the Armored 256gb and pop in a 200gb card lolz. A (relatively) cheap way to get nearly a half-tera in your pocket.

Not gonna mention 256gb+ cards though as those are still pretty pricey nowadays.

First torture test is up on YouTube, unfortunately not in English. But it's an interesting view nonetheless. Very surprising that the Poco is quite bend resistant even though the back is PC... though it doesn't fare as well for drops supposedly (compared to a few other phones in its price point), owing to that GG3

To begin with, does the Poco even have a 2.5D edge to NEED black bordered TGSPs? I don't have one so someone please reconfirm? Because if it's flat glass just get a full clear flat protector lor.

But again, I don't have a Poco so I can't confirm this.

I think A1 and A2, as both are Android One devices, so Xiaomi only provides the hardware while Google is in charge of the software side (which, apparently, includes bootloader unlocking).

TBH, unless you're using the phone naked (aka TGSP-less) is probably better to rely on Oleo coated TGs and to replace them as needed. Considering that decently coated TGSPs (like Nilkin stuff) - while currently not exactly in wide circulation YET for the Poco specifically, at least for now - shouldn't cost all that much.

Ans TGSPs don't really last all that long in use either normally. So use, break, replace, rinse and repeat.

But if you're still interested in getting Oleo coating, one brand from Japan has packaged some. Google for "Fusso FDC003".

Or you know, you could just buy cheap "Nano" screen protector liquid (aka liquid glass). It probably wouldn't be as effective as the Fusso, but hey you can get 3mls for RM12-ish (or a treated wipe at RM5-ish) so it's pretty cost effective in the long run.

And does it work? Eyyyy it at least beats naked uncoated glass to me.

The Fusso? eBay has it at Rm80 for 3ml, and even getting a pack straight from Yodobashi Camera is gonna set you back at least half of that (yes, Yodo has an online catalogue so it's pretty easy to check).

Is it the brightness or the polarisation layer? SOME (some not all) screens have a linearly polarised layer above the screen (supposedly to cut glare), so if you're using polarised sunglasses, you might not be able to see the screen clearly either in portrait or landscape (it should be clear in one of the two orientations though).

Why? When you put two linearly polarised optical elements on top of each other, if they're put in a way that the polarisation aligns, it turns into a darkened/opaque layer (for folks who are into photography that's why you can use 2 linear polarisers as a variable ND).

Why some screens have this issue and some don't I'm not so sure though.

Only certain telcos and in certain locations seem like. Got only intraband but no interband CA (or something).
