To enable root, just flash the magisk module after first boot up
it is said that to fash magisk after flashing the rom, but i prefer to have 1st bootup then root
backup anything, then reboot and flash magisk and then boot up like usual and u can see the root status after u install the magisk manager
to use banking apps, mcdonalds, etc.. just use Magisk Hide and rename the magisk file to something else (this function is inside magisk settings)
enable magisk hide on the apps that wont let u have root i.e banking, telco, boost, ewallet etc

this will make sure ur storage partition wont be locked when u flash to other (or lower version of android) ROM
i have trouble with this. after flashing EU update from Android9 to Android10 then encryption kicks in, i cant do anything except to wipe all my data

but phone is something personal to us, if you are comfortable using nokia brick 3310 then all those numbers doesnt mean anything
"better" is a relative term, for me
having the best specs doesnt guarantee satisfaction to every user that is using it
so if anyone says that X2 is "better" on paper, then YES IT IS..
but "better" in every aspect is quite a general thing, i think it always comes back to personal preferences~
