if u believe it is telco, u can use google supl.google.com:7275/7276

but for me, after i install the gps test, i did the AGPS -> Clear and Update...
i solved 50% of locking problem...
before this... i really really cant lock the gps at all... even after reboot
almost i hv to goto RMA
*
Cant recall if you're the one to recommend last time or someone else, but I had that supl.google.com:7275 changed for long time already, no difference.

Just swapped to TuneTalk few days ago, successfully use Waze few times, today it failed. Open Google Map and works perfectly, tried back Waze while at traffic light junction, still not working.
So maybe safe to assume xiaomi or poco f1 GPS have issue with Waze.

I've applied both the supl.google.com trick, and GPS Test's A-GPS update method.

Actually the camera photo image is different before and after capture.

Example, before take the picture i focus on object. But after take, it is not the same. It will zoom out
*
Always use default camera, or Google Camera apps to capture. Most of the build-in camera function ( for example whatsapp ) sucks.

I did comparison during visit to Helipad lounge.

First glance f1 stock cam looks better but ISO too high so noise reduction make image quality bad.

Google camera with much lower ISO thus better image quality but lower shutter speed make it looks bad at first glance.

digi, celcom and tunetalk now
google maps doesnt give any problem
strava also working perfectly on the updated firmware miui10 android 9

dont know about waze  hmm.gif
*
Me previously umobile, now tunetalk.
Waze have much higher chance of not locking GPS, google map much better at locking GPS ( so far havent encounter issue with Tunetalk )

still got problem when using waze with tunetalk on stock and custom rom.. lucky got sygic
*
same. Worse I switched from Umobile. Both gave me problem on Waze bangwall.gif I presume Tunetalk no issue coz riding on Celcom network.

Not sure if this is the scenario, but I have high chances of Waze successful lock and navigate from office ( cyberjaya ) to somewhere in KL, but then super super high chance Waze failed when I want to navigate home. Swap to Google Map, instant lock and navigate.

The credibility of DxOMark is tarnished edy... LOL...

Those LG G7 ThinQ owners must be butt hurt...

This shows that DxOMark testing is purely on tripod and not handheld... If "re-test" by handheld, sure F1 score is lower than G7TQ...

Well, at least the resale value of our F1 is "secured" thanx to DxOMark's Hall of Fame...

dont forget MKBHD's camera blind test, poco f1 goes into final round and only lose to mate 20 pro whistling.gif beat ipX note9 and hydrogen one biggrin.gif

umobile punya problem ni..we all say telco issue..
*
I was umobile user that facing issue with Waze, then ported to TuneTalk ( Celcom ).

Was getting issue and almost give up.
Then other app's issue lead me to source of my setup's root cause, I had VPN based ad-block ( AdGuard ). Whitelist Waze from AdGuard, and waila, problem solved. So far using Waze for almost 10 times, no more issue icon_rolleyes.gif

It'll be crazy.
My same usage ( heavy Chrome browsing + BT music streaming ), Pixel XL around 4 hours SOT but Poco F1 can easily 7 hours+

Good job, Pocophone: the flagship killer killer...

I think the glory day of Oneplus is gone despite how Pete try to push it...

Eventually OP will lose price/performance ratio to new comer who desperate for market share and brand awareness, xiaomi also should have lots of cash to burn laugh.gif

Sad... use the t glass for few days, put in pocket take out... immediately see crack at one corner. So disappointed. My left pants front pocket always for phone and not keys coins etc... Didn't drop the phone also.. first time use Nillkin t glass, get such bad experience
*
I've used Nilkin TGSP for few years on varies phones, works great except on poco f1. Not sure if their overall quality dropped, or poco f1 design/QC bad.

Ordered another nilkin TGSP during lazada birthday sales ( thanks to previous sharing of link ), let's see how.

There's 95% sellers out there selling fake Nillkin tempered glass...
*
Hmm didnt know it's that high percentage. There's possibility mine was not genuine, because all my previous phone's Nilkin TGSP are really good, but current one quite bad, few cracks after just few weeks usage.

Bought another, but from lazada Nilkin Flagship store, wait and compare see how hmm.gif

so, should I make a compile to Umobile or Xiaomi?
*
When I'm on umobile, poco f1 will have random rate of GPS not locking. Waze the worst, sometimes Google Map will work, but overall GPS lock success rate are low.

I swapped from umobile to TuneTalk, much stable network/signal ( Celcom ), and never have GPS lock issue again.

Change to Celcom or Maxis network bah, there's cheap option via MVNO ( TuneTalk or XOX should be good )

QUOTE(Invince_Z @ Apr 5 2019, 03:09 PM)
where is it?

i use umobile gx50. can lock gps np. however, sometimes gps signal will be lost, it's unpredictable and rare occurrences, even on outside with full bar 4G. usually will take time to relock. didn't update my poco ever since i bought it. still use stock out of factory rom.

most of the time i'll use celcom sim for gps. i only switch to umobile if celcom sim data 0 or in need of huge data download.
*
When on umobile last time, it's not 100% failed but high chances.
Sometimes I can get instant GPS lock when depart, when want go back then cant get GPS lock at all ( open area, rebooted phone, off/on GPS, airplane mode on/off )

I dont know what happened. Besides the lower left corner having the first crack, now my Nilkin tg sp have another 2 more cracks. 1cm above the lower left corner and another at the middle of the opposite side. Just took it out from my pants and saw the additional 2 cracks. I was sitting at my desk whole day.
*
Where you source your Nilkin TGSP ? I bought one ( some unknown seller ) few months back, easily crack ( few weeks already 3-4 crack around corner. Someone said there's high amount of fake Nilkin product on market.
Bought another one last week from official Nilkin store on Lazada, so far so good.

I'll monitor mine, using just one week. Much better than the 3rd party store sell one, which I suspect fake.

WiFi & Mobile data occasionally unable to connect, but not until persistently and so far zero issue with Bluetooth. MIUI is offered frequently update which better than One UI aka new TouchWiz.

Maybe is Poco issue, but I don't have any major issues with the Mi 8 & EE.  wink.gif

QUOTE(SonnyCooL @ Apr 30 2019, 12:39 PM)
i have a few times wifi is connect but no internet till i need to reset wifi setting to make it work.
For blue tooth, cause i constant connect it with few device (smart watch, smart band, earphone n bla bla), some time it can't connect till reinstall apps.

u can try create second space than delete it (i always do to test certain apps), but once i delete second space, i need to reconfigure my main theme layout, full screen and some other tiny issue ....
*
I dont have any issue before, but noticed for past few system updates, after done update and reboot, wifi and/or mobile wont work. I have to reboot yet again for them to work. It will work without issue, until another system update.

No issue at all for bluetooth, connect to car, smartwatch and wireless earbud every weekday.

anyone here uses hydro gel full cover screen protector? seems like all these tempered glass screen protector always chips at the side of the glass..
*
My current full covered TGSP from Nilkin so far no issue at all ( bought from Nilkin official store )
The nilkin I bought before from other random seller, edge chipped on 1st week and keep add on.

I think the cheap/fake TGSP just not good.
