Usually M-ATX is more for multimedia usage, and from time to time, a little gaming, but not too top games which will definitely stressed the on-board GC, slows down everything. Its just like a Laptop, those without dedicated GC.

But for Nvidia's on-board (ref to both my 6150 and 6100 chipset), its quite stable, not sure if its bcoz of AMD's architecture, but for C&C3, no prob for 800 x 600 with medium quality. Not sure about the framerates, but its smooth. Haf not tried others yet, but for those yahoo games, not a prob at all, much better than any Intel's solution. Best of all, the 6100 chipset can still support Window Vista's Aero feature.

you appear to utterly neglect the fact that just like ATX boards, virtually all micro-ATX mobos since few years back also include an AGP (now a PCIe x16) slot for a dedicated graphics card. hence gaming performance on a micro-ATX based platform should not be an issue.
