few things curios..

why choose cassette aircond? iinm maintenance is more expensive and some even dont know how to do it
why choose Midea aircond instead of better brand? but then Bayu 5 for fans.
imo fans is more durable than aircond so invest on better aircond brand better

I choose cassette since it looks nicer and better airflow.
Not really sure how much expensive it would be but i'm not going to service it every month. so i guess its ok.
Whats wrong with Midea?

Cassette aircon is not suitable coz it reduces ceiling height, house will look smaller..

Ok la use cassette aircon. I think it’s a good choice since TS has only one aircon point which is at the far end of the living room near the kitchen. If install Wall aircon, the cool air will only reach dining area.

With the cassette aircon, he can place it center of both dining and living. Another good point is now his ceiling is all one level, same height as his kitchen.

Thanks for sharing TS and congrats on your new home.

Not sure cheap or not...

RM9,700 (minus 10% discount)
- Plaster ceiling dining, living & 2 rooms.
- Whole house wiring (new lighting points, additional socket points) including hacking & plastering
- Installation of 5 x fans, 3 x wall mount ACs, 1 x cassette AC, 24 x downlights
- T5 & downlights (not include decorative lights)

I'm getting 10% discount to let my house be his showroom for 1 month. Means he can bring his new/potential customer to see the house within 1 month upon his work completion.

G'day to all,

31st August 2018

So far quite satisfied with the plaster ceiling contractor. The boss is easy to communicate and follow every instruction on how and where I want things to be done. Their workmanship is OK although a bit slow.

- Plaster ceiling almost completed.
- 1 x cassette & 3 x wall AC installed.
- Hacking work and additional wall power socket installation almost completed.

Pending work
- Lighting installation
- Fans installation
- White paint for ceiling

The ceiling contractor quoted me RM1500 for whole house painting all in. I just choose colour. Might give paint job to him as well.

Progress looks good. May I know why is the Aircond fitted that way (like in a box)?

Also, who did the 3D drawing for you?

For the wall mounted AC, condensation water discharged by gravity. If I installed it lower, I need to install waterpump to discharge the water.
So I avoid usage of waterpump and made a box instead to maintain the height.

I did the drawing myself smile.gif
