Restoring the deleted files works, now I can improve the frame rate by adjusting the Graphics settings. Thanks for your help.

Hi there.
I can see that you are currently running RS4 version of Windows 10. You can update to RS5 using the Windows Update Assistant from the official Microsoft Website to help improve system stability.
After updating Windows, please run DDU again as updating it can cause problems.
Send me a reply if your issue persists and we'll keep troubleshooting.
Kind Regards.

Hi again.
In order to look further into the problem at hand, I'm going to need your DxDiag log. Please follow these instructions:
• From Start, search for dxdiag. If you are using Windows 10, simply type in dxdiag after opening the menu.
• When the bar finishes loading and disappears, click on the Save All Information button.
• Save it in a convenient place that you can find and access with ease.
• Attach this file to a reply in this ticket.
Would it be possible to also get video or short clip of your issue as it occurs, please?

I have deleted the contents as instructed, now the game crash to desktop while playing the loading/opening video. I have tried Check Files, after completion still same.

Hi Hero.
GM Kaioken here to help you with your ticket.
We strive to help players resolve any technical troubles such as this whenever possible.
Based on the information you have provided, I would like you to delete the following in your Black Desert Online installation folder:
- "ads" folder
- Cache Folder
- Delete the content of the following temp folder: C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Temp
- Please also delete your Cache Folders in your Documents.
- The steps here are also invaluable if you have not tried them yet. [Client] Framerate Improvement
A full graphics card driver reinstall may alleviate the issue that you are experiencing. To perform one, follow the steps below:
• Download Display Driver Uninstaller.
• Using the above software, fully uninstall your current graphics card driver.
• Once finished, restart your system and then download the latest available driver from your vendor.
• For AMD drivers, visit this page.
• For nVidia drivers, visit this page.
• Install the latest available driver with a Clean Install (the option will be available in both installation wizards).
Now run a Client Repair: [Procedure] How to repair your game client
I also recommend removing any background programs and trying on a Clean Boot, just to rule out any performance issues.
This should fully resolve the issue, but if you need any further help, send me a reply.
Kind Regards.
