I was feeling great and exercised vigorously for 6 weeks.

Lately I feel tired, dehydrated, light headed and body pains.

I am eating and drinking healthy portions but the recovery is slow. I am unable to exercise to my maximum this week.

How long do you guys normally take to fully recover?

A day or 2? Not sure what is wrong but Bro, you need to stop exercising and just rest. If you cant recover, maybe see a doc or nutritionist?

Just rest for a few days. Sounds like you are overworking yourself. Drink plenty of water and if condition still persist, definitely see a doctor

Not sure how many days you work out in a week.

For me, 3x a week. 1 day hard work out. The other 2 days with easy/recovery workouts.

Recovery will take longer as we age. Huhu

what was the problem?

i had something similiar, i even bought a pre workout to boost my energy but it didn't work, it was even worst, then i change another supplement but i feel better and able to workout with positive mindset.

you have to deep dive and check what you had lately, your sleep? supplement? emotional?

It's probably overtraining - you've got the symptoms which came about after a period of intensive exercise. see? there's even a Wikipedia entry on it

Drinking lots of water is still not helping. Take more isotonic water, real food that is easy to digest like clear soup and porridge.

I am not a seller, so I share with all here. No need to pm. The soup and porridge can be cooked with fish and vege. I just drink more100 plus.

Dehydration is a very dangerous thing. The body is made up of seventy percent water. Cells need water to function smoothly. I have seen many people intentionally not drinking water to lose weight. They shouldn't do this. They need to drink water constantly for improving their health.

U lift weight?
U need to eat more protein to speed up the recovery. Carbo loading if on that day got exercise.

I think I was chasing PB everyday, body was burnout.

Now I am on reduced intensity and getting more food and sleep.

I am still unsure why protein helps recovery and what is the purpose of carbo load for daily workout.
