Fair point. As mentioned, manufacturers have good models that are quite decent and have DRAM. Such as Sandisk Ultra II, Patriot Burst, just to name a few. As for pricing, it depends on the budget of the user and what they need it for. Just see to it that you are not paying more for older stock (but I am unsure how to avoid that).Linus doesn't recommend it either.....
