I don't disagree, though I feel some are just sleeping on the job. The credit scoring does not care whether you have money to pay back. It just checks your past records. I've already read a few articles. No credit score is as bad as bad credit score, which is ridiculous. As long as everyone agrees that, no harm no foul.

For his case, yes, big fat loans + good payback record (and of coz, he's loaded with $$$ much more than me) vs me with no loan + no record + enough money to pay for the little credit limit I was expecting. I was just expecting like 2-3k credit limit.

Either way, with all credit scores, I still read credit card debt is still worrying here.

I don’t think PBB is that efficient for card application. MAybe u can just check with the CS instead of the IVR. the approval status maybe is for ur existing card which u have..

Last week, I top up using "QMC" (QV's number but QM's CVV/CVC) as I already top up RM660 using VS for week 1 (8 times) and week 2 (3 times). So remaining 5 times was using the QV's card number but QM's CVV/CVC... and the money went through.

Then this week when I top up, cause since the QM already have 5 transaction last week, then this week I need swap to QV... to gain the VIP points as 10 transaction = RM600 = RM30 cash back liao. Then only I realized I have been using wrong card but money still go through when I key in wrong CVV/CVC ._.

I welcome this kind of post. Every participant is entitled and should win.... The entitlement mentality.... Good one... Go ahead...cc to bnm whoever it is.

I've also been thinking the same thing. What I think is, the contest is to get people to spend, not transfer money to somewhere else. So maybe they close a blind eye when the volume is low. When too many people doing it, they exercise the rights they reserved. Or, when everyone starts calling in about BigPay, it alerts their management as well. After that, cannot even entitle for the 5% 6% online transaction. 21 days notice is all it takes right?

But of course, it could have been some mistake at their end.

Given the opportunity from the legal perspective, I think paying bills online also they don't want to give the 5%/6% cash back. Maybe they're stuck with their own T&C.

BP top-up is Quasi-cash, obviously you can turn the transaction into cash.
So you cannot use BP for RHB, UOB and CIMB campaigns.

Haha yes but of course. Spend money only can make money. Transfer money difficult to make. One of these weeks they will see all winners are doing BP transactions.

I have a friend working with Public Bank marketing department. She told me that they are aware of this BigPay abuse and they are monitoring closely the activities. You might be the unlucky one spotted by them. I can confidently say this will be the last PBB Spend now 4 more cash back campaign that can be abused using BP. Definitely will have a clause in the future.
