well for most, should try every 6 monthly. 5x since march means you're applying monthly. public bank still have the rights to reject your application but i guess they wanna avoid any hassle with BNM and thus approved a low limit for you.

not sure why. because many here who fulfil the requirements but still don't get it. why afraid of BNM, i suppose they one in charge doesn't want any trouble with BNM or difficult customers. nevertheless, as you mentioned, you're given a low credit limit as compared to your other cards, so that says pretty much about their risk assessment.

Sorry about this but when your hire purchase is approved, won't that degrade your criteria even though you met the income requirement, clean CCRIS and complete documentation?

Unless you have a revised up in the annual income during the recent application in September, bank has its own discretion of rejecting it.

From my experience and my own opinion, the people who process applications don't really care. How did I find out? I wrote something in the email, and they ask me the same question again. And some don't even know how to read my payslips. So they ask for more supporting documents. So what my friend told me in the past is true.

When their higher level is involved, it put their competency at stake. Especially when you can justify everything, it'll make them incompetent in front of their superior. And of course, if Bank 1Negara start questioning top execs, more people will get grilled.

But I didn't have such problem with Public Bank. Maybe me application went through because I was holding only 1 card at that time.

p/s : If you read the application form carefully, some banks require only 1 supporting document. Some needs only 1-3 moons payslip but they conveniently ask for 6 moons payslip, EPF la, EA form la.
Hehe that's something I was always curious but never dare to click. But I think it should list out your available cards instead of killing them off all at one shot.

I had contacted cs long time ago. They said cannot set to rm1 and I report to BNM. BNM kick the ball to pbb cs. Nice move.

i just call pbb cs the malay lady fluent in English said only can set in rm100 not rm1.
