QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Sep 12 2018, 11:54 AM)
it depends on the bank but for PBB, they posted the SST on the statement date, not shown in August but maybe Aug/Sep is an one off situation, they might reflect the same as other bank to shown the SST charged on the anniversary date rather than on the last day of statement date after Sep.

QUOTE(distributor @ Sep 12 2018, 06:46 PM)
I just called pb CS. If your card written 08/xx. My card billed with the SST RM25.
Anniversary date will fall on any date on Sept, They don't  follow month. I think MBB doesn't charge me SST  for 08/xx card.
*
By right, it should based on card issue date/ approval date.. among all banks, I c only AEON Credit provide the clear and correct SST charging treatment/ method in their FAQ as per Custom guideline.

PBB is following statement date, but, if ur existing card is approve b4 September, u can always appeal with them if they charge u in September following statement date, they will honor it and reverse based on few forummers’ experience sharing here..

i think appeal is the wrong word though. it should not have happened in the first place. it's our right.

Advised wanted. I was making payment at MAS site, when I reach the OTP payment page. I enter the OTP as usual. The moment I click submit, the browser tab just close like that. I didn't receive any email from MAS about my flight booking. Call them up they assure me that if I didn't receive email means the payment didn't go through. But now I'm worried that the payment did charge to my credit card. Has anyone experience this before?

No, you need to check the "Authorised Transaction". Unbilled transaction will not reflect that fast.

It also depends on when is your posting date, if the transaction date is too near to your statement date and the posting is after they calculate the CB for the statement, they will include this transaction to next month calculation
