Here's where my room is and under the tv is the router.

At this distance , Samsung J7 Pro can't detect 5Ghz.

No point. It is just this guy who constantly asking the same questions and insisting that this router supports 300Mbps on 2.4GHz. I am tired of saying the same things repeatedly, so just going to leave it. You can understand how I feel lol.

Here is my test via iPhone X roughly 8ft away from the router.

need some help here, i am using tplink AC5, which from their website, this router can actually goes up to 800++ Mbps at 5GHz.

i am also using tplink T4U AC1300 high gain, but at speed test, i am only getting like 300 Mbps ... what am i not doing here ...

So I did some research, and apparently I'll need at least a AC2200 to get 800Mbps over WiFi.

I was looking for access point that can give me that kind of speed. And TS only list out routers, not access point. So anyone here can recommend an AP or two?
Currently I'm on TP-Link Archer C9, AC1900, and I would get about 450Mbps over WiFi with my iPhone 7. Looking at Ubiquiti UAP-AC-Lite right now, though I'm not sure if it can delivers 800Mbps.

Hi,

Today I was told i get turbo-ed to 500mbps since 10 sept while checking with TM center staff about the 100mbps package.

I get neither email nor sms notification about it until today.

So i did the speedtest and only get 100mbps.

My router is Asus RT-N12HP and using cat6 cable. The router website show i can get up to 300mbps. Am i missing something with the setting?

My area is Pandan Indah, Kuala Lumpur.

correct me if i’m wrong.. orange color is 10/100mbps while green is 1000mbps.. as what we always see on a switch

also, from my asus router, it says wan connection is 100mbps but to my pc is 1gbps..

i’m also stuck at 90++ mbps using lan (turbo 500)

I do realised the list of router in the first page and considering the Asus RT-AC1200G+.

But do you mind explain to me why my current router cant reach 300mbps because the website said "up to 300mbps.

is tm throttling download speeds?
i receive full 500mb when use speed test. when i start download big file the speed i get is around 65mb/sec and after while i get 30-32mb/sec constant till the download finish!

He understand the differences. U may need read twice what he means.

Lol... I tested with short cable to see if I got 400+ but no. I placed my router at the edge of the table also cannot improve.

And isn't a kitchen, kitchen is at the rear. This is my dining hall?
