I am a streamyx 8mbps user. Today is already Aug 15, 2018 and I haven't received any notification of upgrade. I tried to access the online eligibility form on unifi website but it is nowhere to be found (only brought me to the home page).

Can anyone inform me what is the status for streamyx users?

I went to TMPoint in Bayan Baru yesterday wanting to subscribe for the Unifi Post Paid Mobile package that comes with the Huawei B618 modem but was told that they have no stock of the modem.

Every TMPoint in the northern region don't have stock of the Huawei modem, then why continue and promote the Unifi mobile package LOL.

A silly question to ask - I am running on a slow streamyx 8mbps using an old TPLink 300mbps wireless N ADSL2 modem router, do I have to bother about dual band 2.4ghz and 5 ghz and 802.11 standards?

Although the internet line is stable on my desktop connected to the modem by LAN cable, many a time my tablets and phones couldn't get internet (although shown internet connected on phones) on wifi connection. Occasionally I have to reboot my modem to get wifi on my tablets/phonesagain

Do I need to change or tweak my TPLink modem router in order to get more stable wifi connection for my phones and tablets?
