Just called the CS, the new 100mbps plan is currently only applicable for new subscribers. For existing customer, they mentioned discussion is in progress and ask me to call back next week instead.

Not sure whether those still under contract (mostly RYE users, including me) can be switched over to the new plan.
But as we see here some out of contract users managed to switch over.

From what i heard, no turbo for new 100mbps plan.

Are you still under contract? If no, process would be easier.

If that's the point, no point downgrading for those on 189 per month. Would be beneficial for those more than 200 instead.

Went to TM point this morning. Existing customer with or without contract can apply for this new 100mbps package. The only downside for under contract users is that the contract will be renewed for 24 months. No penalty will be charged. They will record your application and process will be done on next week as the new 100mbps package isn't ready yet in their system.

Always go for 5Ghz for 100mbps and above connection speed.
Even on high end routers, 2.4Ghz won't go beyond 100mbps most of the time unless your environment has very low wireless interference.
Get yourself 5Ghz capable devices and you are good to go.

Went there yesterday around 12pm. Order completed within 2 hours.

Downgraded to 100Mbps RM129 from 100Mbps RYE 2017.
No penalty. They only charge me RM10 for playTV downgrade to ruby pack plus as I'm previously on ultimate pack. Contract renewed at 24 months as usual.
