Hello guys, upgrade aside, may I know are there ways to disable the unifi phone or make it unusable when telephone cable inserted to the phonejack? I tried changing the vlan 400 to some other number but that does not work. Or is there ways to at least disable outgoing calls? I know this request is weard, but reason being that I am sharing acc & do not want housemates to plug in and use phone. Hope sifu here can give direction.

Dude....that ONU is TM property. According to TM annual report, the average lifespan of BTU is 4 - 5 years.

If it was glued, he gonna be charged by TM when he asked for replacement or if he terminates his account in future. Gluing the phone port is not a good idea.

Unifi Portal Account updated to 800mbps 2 days ago.

Speed test still showing only 300+ mbps on LAN. WiFi 5Ghz flip flop in between 1xx mbps to 240+ mbps

Not sure is it my equipment problem of Unifi still very unstable in the speed upgrade.

Live Chat earlier with Unifi, they just say currently it is Pilot Phase and Monitoring so the speed can't achieve full yet.

Don’t think so. I started using Unifi 12/12/2011. Still waiting for Turbo in Sg Long.

Got 800Mbps since end of August, I have decided to change back to 100Mbps come next billing cycle.

800Mbps is overkill, too much for me because I’m not a heavy downloader, mostly streaming.

I would save around RM60/month (RM720 a year) for making this decision

The best part is the C1200 would be just great for 100Mbps. Don’t have to waste money to buy another ‘powerful wireless router’

Believe me, 100Mbps is more than enough for most of you.
