I do received email supposing to have TURBO to 800mbps at Phase 1.

FYI, my package is UNIFI Pro 100mbps RYE2017 previous is RM189.00; now drop to RM159.00

I am from Menggatal, Sabah!

cry.gif Meanwhile I am still paying RM247, they are just ignoring my MCMC complaint and try closing it by sending some typical response email

See my post on V33. I did share I there.

Thanks for sharing your screenshots. I wonder how long did it takes for TM to contact you after you log a complaint with MCMC. It have been more than a month and they still refuse to adjust my price, keep trying to close the case by sending some bullshit email. Luckily I have no contract left, but if I were to reapply I would have to wait until next year for turbo.

What sites you all use? PHD, PTP, HDC, ADC, CHDbits, M-Team? <--- Heard these are good....
*
Nowadays I don't use any private ones, I just get from the typical public sites. If it's stuck or too slow, I will just use those magnet search and I will normally get more than 10 different torrents.

I doubt the thing I download most is on private anyway brows.gif these siterip mega pack are usually purposely uploaded on these premium download sites which account cost like $20 per month

Whats the point of using private ones anyway? Dont they have fewer seeds? The best ones are when fellow unifiers are seeding (MY flag in peers tab)
*
I suppose back in the days, private ones have higher standard imposed on their uploader than public ones. And due to the the high ratio rule, you could even download really old torrent at full speed. The community are helpful, the uploaders will normally upload something you requested

Confirmed my BTU is gigabit connectivity. Cable is cat5e from Asus ac66u to BTU (swapped to another cat5e cable from another router, still same speeds)

Ran out of ideas, Down/Up just below 100mbps, regardless of using wifi / direct LAN.

Received SMS from TM today saying i'm turbo-ed to 500mbps, and to turn off router & btu for 10 minutes. Did that and still no change in speeds.

Clueless as to what's up tongue.gif

Might be an issue with Asus router firmware, try upgrading to latest version. Also make sure your PC network adapter is set to 1.00Gbps Full Duplex

Main socket turn off for 10 minutes+,
Asus router firmware updated, same result. PC network adapter setting only has 100mbps full duplex (odd, using killer 1535 wifi / killer e2400 gigabit)

Think its something to do with port from TM? or possibly area doesn't have enough bandwidth for 500mbps
*
If it shows 100mbps when set on Auto-Negotiate, something is wrong with your cables. There's no option to manually select 1.0 Gbps?

Hmm Cat5e supports up to 1000 Mbps, does it mean it can do 1 Gbps both directions simultaneously or a shared pipe between the two directions? Lets say my connection is 800/500, will the total bandwidth be capped at around 1000 Mbps when I am downloading and uploading at the same time?

Yes ethernet port are bi-directional unless you have a wiring issue and the computers get a link that is Half Duplex instead of Full Duplex. But with Gigabit, Half Duplex isn't supported, so you shouldn't have an issue with 2Gb/s (1Gb/s in each direction)

Cool thanks, I thought I had to upgrade to Cat6 to make sure I ain't hitting any cap while torrenting

Got an sms that my 50 Mbps has been "turboed". Reset my router.

Checked the speed and got only 100 Mbps. Thought it should be 500 Mbps.

Anyone here got 100 Mbps? 500 Mbps?
*
Upload speed also 100 Mbps? Are you using cable or wifi?
