The higher-ups won't clean up, but when big boss looking for scapegoat to blame for bad publicity he's not looking at the poor cleaner lady, he's looking at manager level at least. So better settle fast.

But this fella was lucky la, I think if Digi staff just call police and get him arrested no one will raise a big stink also. If he threaten any sort of violence I'm sure that would happen di. There's much better ways to resolve (face2face at HQ as mentioned here) than this.

Why fear the contract? Plan to move?

Well if you're the 'loyal' customer still paying 300+ then RM129 for 2 years is cheaper than 300+ for 1 year =) and there's a chance to move your unifi to the new location (or waive the remaining year based on the reason that you're moving to a place unifi doesn't cover).

I'd say savings right now matter more than what may happen in 1 years time.
