Not sure what the 800Mbps will bring haha since I mostly Netflix, Spotify and using for work apps.

Hmm Asus recommends AC88U for 800Mbps..
Anyone on this router can show WiFi speed for those who got upgraded to 800 plan?

If you check the reviews the AD7200 has an issue with maintaining a stable connection. If you really need to get the ad wifi protocol, I suggest wait for Asus to come out with similar offerings.

I'm wondering if it would be better to start off with a new thread talking about home networking rather than referring to 1st post?

Technically it's nothing related to UniFi. I remember we have a dedicated section for that but was merged eventually. This might revive the discussions there.
