which beg to question if TM should upgrade all ffth users to 100mbps first. VDSL2 or whatever on condo to 30-50mbps first b4 decide what to do next.

I was wondering if TM required to take back orange router to exchange new AC router or not. (currently I am on Asus 14UHP, it is a wireless-N and 2 more wireless-AP). So if wanna whole network to support I need to replace 3 devices. rclxub.gif

Why dont just go pipe wiring?

hide the a pipe in the wall, then buy a cheap Lan cable go through it. That way you can upgrade cable later even after 20yrs.

yes,the whole point is put a 1.5/2inch diameter pvc pipe within walls, then run Cat6 cable inside it. For the exit point, you can have your pipe sligthly expose then you cover it with Pipe end cap to look nicer.

So in future if wanna replace, remove the cover pull the cable out.

I regret I do a cat6a in my wall, Cat6a is not guarranty 10gbps.(heck I am not even sure is cat6 or cat6a because I forgot) So if my internet gone faster in 10yrs, replacing it will require hacking again. I should have get creative back then and plan for long term.

I think after all these turbo,

I need to complain to Goblin for Unifi 100mbps pricing @ 129 is a little too close to 300mbps pricing. I wanna downgrade to that package.

unifi 50 pacakage is dumb without free 600min calls, if add that +RM20 = it become within RM10 to 100mbps pacakge. That is Stupid. Would have been fine if they include free calls like 100mbps but at RM99 price.

yup. currently I am on 30mbps + UnifiTV ruby pack + STD20(600min free calls) for RM159. (RM139+RM20)

b4 I was on VIP5 I pretty much rejected every TM attempt to get me pay extra to upgrade, until Feb 2018 I joined the that 30mbps package.

basically if u want a better deal from TM, do not accept any deal that require you to top up extra monthly fees.

actually that is the main reason why I sub 30mbps this Feb 2018.

Yup legacy VIP5 is TM to TM only. So if sub RM139+20 I get Free calls 600mins regardless to which telco.

Because one of my relative just change to Maxis line @ end of 2017, calling him will cost money; phone bill alone already >RM10(add VIP5 bill =>RM159), might as well Sub RM139+20 package lol doh.gif

new 100mbps no Set top box. (Not sure if it is important to you or not). if can; can u please ask him regarding the STB. Also try use the STB if they somehow didnt take it back.

biggest difference between existing 30mbps vs 100mbps now is the SET top box.

I also on RM159 package, I might wanna follow ur footstep & pick 100mbps package if they allow me to keep Set top box to view my Ruby package.(Direct streaming, not via PlayTV app)
