QUOTE(Berserker @ Sep 16 2018, 10:56 PM) My plan is 100mbps+ultimate. No STD20. Hope the charges is temporary applied until Turbo has been activated. Seems like Sabah/Sarawak is yet to get upgraded to Turbo for major town areas unlike West M'sia. if they temporary lower down yours to Rm139, than you can't push them to bring you to 800mbps than. better they stick you to what you pay now so that you can every day or every week chase them for the turbo. lol....btw, i'm from miri and got turbo-ed on last 2 days for 300mbps, after making about 4 complaints + visiting Tm to change the plan.

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Sep 16 2018, 11:03 PM) Cause majority of Sabah + Sarawak subscribers are slated for phase 2. no problem with me as long they reduce my subscription rate. I received the turbo email for first phase though

QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Sep 16 2018, 08:04 PM) Nope. You can’t surf the net, and you still need a router. It is just mainly for testing purposes to see if your BTU supports gigabit speed for now. When you mentioned checking the speed, are you referring to the one shown under Ethernet status when I'm connected to the BTU? This one?

So, it is not speed limited. QUOTE(daidzz @ Sep 16 2018, 11:15 PM) Anyone have an idea of what the turbo phases are and the respective areas? Nope, only TM knows.

At this point would it make sense to stay on the RM300+ 100mbps and wait for the 800 turbo or move to the RM129, 100mbps plan and then upgrade again? A little stuck here, as there is so little transparency about the phases

A little stuck here, as there is so little transparency about the phases Damn, you are on RM300 for 100Mbps? That’s crazy. Honestly, if you don’t need 800Mbps, and is happy with 100Mbps, move to the RM129, 100Mbps plan. Keep in mind that the RM129 plan will not be eligible for turbo upgrade, and there is no UnifiTV on STB.

stupid question, but is the 100Mbps plan available for a high rise copper residential location? Still stuck with VIP 20 because I need the unlimited upload bandwidth for work reasons, and while the new 30Mbps plan is cheaper, it has lower upload speed and data cap as well

Otherwise jumpship to Maxis Fiber or TIME Fiber for faster upload speed.

got confirmation that my unifi turboed to 800mbps, but the problem is BTU unit not support such connection. need to change the BTU unit, but then the biggest problem is, my contract with unifi alread end last month. So my unifi not applicable for new replacement BTU unit. I only got 2 option :- 1. get new free device, but contract will renewed. 2. purchase own device, then contract wont be renewed.
eh jilake laa TM

You meaning router, is it? yeah, just realized that, infact the livechat person also missed that. zzzzz my router more than capable to handle gigabit connection, the only problem here is the BTU unit. so hopefully when the technical team pay their visit, everything will go smoothly without any payment or newly contract
