QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Aug 20 2018, 04:16 PM) RM139 for unlimited calls, good but cannot use back existing phone number right? So +RM40 to keep TM number. if like that better keep lor. my company uses old TM line. we only use unifi line for out going call. at our website also put the old TM line.239 vs 139. rm100 a month saving is a no brainer. time to change |

QUOTE(iguana_dude_619 @ Aug 20 2018, 03:54 PM) good good!!! Hopefully this will hurt Tm even just a little bit through their shareholder return. Even if Tm still lease their line to maxis, hopefully it makes few new customers turn their head. Rm89 for 30mbps is almost near to those Scandinavian and Central Europe fibre rate. 🙏🏻🙏🏻. Celcom fibre and TIME is next.DEATH TO MONOPELIR BABITALIS!! |

Meanwhile TM is asking Government more time for price reduction.
Looks like my request to reduce to 159 can be possible with attacks from Maxis. |

Question to Maxis Fibre users who lurking in this thread, do Maxis still provide that crappy Technicolor router?
Since the RJ45 is no longer on TM's BTU, what sort of replacement if want to ditch out completely the router while still connecting to the phone? |

based on the maxis marketing price, we can predict TM future price too.
as turbo promise <20Mbps, upgrade to 100Mbps rm129 (with the play service) and the VDSL issue might not solve easily, it means most of the VDSL only get max 30Mbps and the price need to be reduced, i guess it will be between 79-99 (89 as middle) |

QUOTE(Jo@NJS @ Aug 20 2018, 03:57 PM) My experience with Maxis, about 2 years ago, was that I had tons of unexplained issues with PSN. Just kept getting disconnected. Their BTU is exactly the same as the ones from TM. Only their router is crap, a N only wifi, with LAN ports limited to 100Mbps. Only the WAN is Gbps capable. I believe it was the Technicolor TG784n v3. Can't remember other issues, guess it was either none or insignificant. Never tried torrent.I junked Maxis soon after, and after switching to Unifi and using it for the pass over 2 years, it has been good with zero issues on PSN. |

The best part for maxis broadband is all existing MaxisONE Home Fibre customers within contract or out of contract are eligible to change to their choice of a new plan with new contract of 24 months.
Tm don't even bother about existing customer that not eligible to turbo the speed. Pay full price and u don't get turbo. This post has been edited by ckseng: Aug 20 2018, 04:58 PM |
