QUOTE(mylinear @ Sep 16 2018, 12:21 PM) Yes, initially the FAQ said 60GB quota only. Later FAQ changed and unlimited until end of year was added. And supposed to have add-on quota next year. I guess because Maxis 30M is unlimited , they had to do this for now. It is unfair they don't tell about the add-on properly as users cannot decide whether it will be suitable for their usage. Unless they will eventually leave it as unlimited later on. Like what they did with the original VIP packages. Maybe they want users to get the higher priced package so they put the quota in for now. Yup, at least it's still good news for me...Alternative, I can kept upgrade to 50Mbps or 100Mbps later, if needed. Just re-contract is fine for me... QUOTE(pisces1529 @ Sep 16 2018, 12:22 PM) Logged in to my portal to check my order, got this RM202 fee but RM0 in Bill Details. She is right, TM bills was messed. My package currently is 30mbps RM179, at most transfer ownsership + prorated also RM10 + less than RM179(prorated) Anyone got this issue? Livechat with agent told me just ignore and wait actual bill Just wait for next bill for confirmation or you can complain with it later for adjustment/waive. |

QUOTE(wilson1stop @ Sep 16 2018, 08:27 AM) I've also checked my Unifi Portal, RM78.60 (SST included) which is pro-rated before cycles. No extra charges from TM, and also NO RM200 DOWNGRADE FEE as my TM Manager helped me CONFIRMED with HQ before proceed switching... P/s: Anyway, lodge your complaint and ask TM to waive the fees... Anyway, another thing to follow up. QUOTE(pisces1529 @ Sep 16 2018, 11:22 AM) Logged in to my portal to check my order, got this RM202 fee but RM0 in Bill Details. They will tell you to ignore. Hi guys, I have read the guides in the first page. It says in order to fully utilise TURBO , you need to have a suitable BTU (modem??)
I received my upgrade on Friday evening, from 50mbps to 500mbps. However I am only getting 280mbps max by using LAN and 130ish Mbps on WiFi 5ghz. My router is a ASUS RTAC55UHP (AC1200) , so by right i should be able to get the max speed if not something close. I am using CAT6 cable , but the cable from modem to Router is CAT 5e (nevertheless it's still sufficient to support based on unifi page). Therefore I am suspecting that my modem needs an upgrade. The modem that i am using is I-240-GP not I-240-G (Silver) , you may refer to the picture below. Does that mean I have to change the modem? If yes, would I be able to request a change from TM for free? Just asking here before I call TM. Thanks ! Attached thumbnail(s) |
