Better confirm there is no fees imposed on your account upon downgrade.

I had a friend who bought a six antenna tplink WDR7400
from taobao which was only released for the China market and asked me to configure it to replace his crappy trashcan unifi router at his house.

Turns out the this router's firmware had no option to change the native Chinese language web interface so by translating whole pages of the UI using Google translate I found no support for vlan tagging which made this router unusable for unified.

My friend was lured by the six antennas and fast wifi specs coupled with a sub rm200.00 price tag.

So make sure that you check the specs carefully before you pull the trigger on these Chinese market routers.

Technically, you have Spectre + Meltdown problem where one of the CPU core is maxed as shown in your screenshot. Your CPU probably has high clock or powerful enough to offset the penalty.....or is it due to Turbo Boos skewing the result?.

Laptop has funny 'Turbo Boost' management.
For instance, i5-5200U has base clock of 2.20GHz and turbo clock of 2.7GHZ. If it is clocked at 2.2ghz due to temp, LAN transfer is limited to 370Mbps. If it is suddenly turbo boos at 2.7ghz, LAN transfer will increased to 500Mbps.

Anyway, have you try one of fellow forummer about clearing cookie and cache plus incognito mode to speedtest?

30 to 100 is an upgrade, and of course contract renew.

So far, only 2 reported the fees was imposed, but not happened to me...
and according to their FAQ, upgrade is depend on speed but not price.

So assuming you still 30Mbps but upgrading to 100Mbps, it's called Upgrade and didn't charging any fees.
(But previously downgrade might imposed RM200, new FAQ didn't mention any charges since got 2 year renewal like you said)

Yes. I was told no penalty even though u r under contract.
U can also switch to RM79 30mbps with 60G quota without penalty.
but contract will be refreshed with another 2 years.

Don't need to look at price.. Look at speed plan only.. From 30 - 100Mbps is an upgrade.. So no penalties, just contract refresh. Though, if lucky you can ask for no contract refresh.. See if they agree.. Probably won't.

30Mbps Basic is still unlimited until end of this year, I'm using it now.

Yes, initially the FAQ said 60GB quota only. Later FAQ changed and unlimited until end of year was added. And supposed to have add-on quota next year. I guess because Maxis 30M is unlimited , they had to do this for now. It is unfair they don't tell about the add-on properly as users cannot decide whether it will be suitable for their usage. Unless they will eventually leave it as unlimited later on. Like what they did with the original VIP packages. Maybe they want users to get the higher priced package so they put the quota in for now.

Logged in to my portal to check my order, got this RM202 fee but RM0 in Bill Details.

My package currently is 30mbps RM179, at most transfer ownsership + prorated also RM10 + less than RM179(prorated)

Anyone got this issue? Livechat with agent told me just ignore and wait actual bill
