Looks like a 100mbps network port bottleneck somewhere. What btu are you usIng?

Port is probably limited to 100Mbps.

...which is gigabit but there have been cases where the BTU’s network ports are configured by TM at 100Mbps. Maybe you can check that. Connect a PC or laptop to the BTU’s network port and see what speed it links at.

You check your pc Ethernet port connection speed.

Yeah port 1. The BTU port that was connected to the router. Internet won’t work. Check your PC’s LAN status. Just want to see the link speed whether it’s 100mbps or 1000mbps.

Try 2 or 3 cables to rule out a cable problem.

weird, i tested the port, the link speed only 100Mbps...
using CAT 5e cable to test though.

Just tested the TP-Link c1200 router that is included with the unifi installation by TM with a recently
turbo-ed connection at 800 mbps against a mikrotik RB750Gr3 router.

All tests were conducted with a 2M cat6 patch cable connected to alcatel B.T.U. on port 1
to router on wan port.
And a 2M cat6 patch cable from Lan port1 on router to laptop.
I did not test wifi performance as the mikrotik has no wifi built in.
Laptop has gigabit N.I.C. Core i5 7200 12MB of RAM and 120GB SSD.
With a stock router out of the box configured with the wizard and natboost enabled.

I get the following speedtest results.



When I perform the same test with natboost disabled. I get the following




After doing the tests described above. I arranged the setup to use
my mikrotik RB750Gr3 router in-place of the tplink router
with the same cable configuration as the above test
with fasttrack enabled (suggestion by jio on another thread)

I get the following speedtest results.

So it looks like if your connection is turbo-ed to 500mbps
you might be able to get by (just barely) with the tplink c1200
router that TM includes for free with their unifi package but
if you are turbo-ed to 800 mbps you will have to seriously
consider upgrading the tplink router to something more capable.

These are the only Gigabit capable routers I have on hand to test
and if I get my hands on any others I will retest and post it here.
