I thought Unifi Lite did not get STB? Did you add-on previously and pay more than RM129?

In order to get 300mbps  I need to get 2 CAT5e/6 cables, 1 each for BTU-Router & Router-PC right?

Existing package - Unifi 30Mbps (RM139) - Installed on end of July 2018

Request to downgrade to Unifi Lite 10Mbps - end of August 2018

Downgrade because not my main house, rarely stay there. Just stayed there for 2-3 days per week.

(Managed to retain STB with this downgrade)

Then yesterday, 14 September 2018, I request to 'upgrade' to 100Mbps because same monthly payment and if Turbo also same speed, so why bother to wait.

I guess you should select the package with STB for the first installation and they will keep the STB even you downgrade to the package that didn't provide the STB like Unifi Lite.

Between 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 and 9.9.9.9 which is better DNS? will it help in the speed on top of turbo speed?

Looks like they now have an email/SMS to notify customer once account is Turbo-Ed.

9.9.9.9 is Quad9 DNS. It provides the same functions as OpenDNS.

My place indeed got TIME internet,jus my unifi still in contract,for 6 more months.if terminate now got penalty for the remaining months right?

Got a shock that my outstanding payment shows 289.50 (I overpaid 7.50) last month that means the bill was supposed to be 297.

The latest bill is not yet ready and I do have a feeling the CS in Menara TM may screw up my package and I am required to pay for penalty for UniFi TV.

Time to complain again.

I was slapped with 200 downgrade fee after downgraded from 50 to 30. Asked multiple time with 100 & TMPoint that my contract already finish and no fee if downgrade. Anyway, just raise a report. TM fix after few days later. But need to wait for final bill come out 1st to see the details.

Just a query boys! Much is said about changing DNS. But when u do that ,u cannot access online banking right?Isnt it then a nuisance cos I did do it last night,changed back when I could not access online banking,is there anything else to be done?

I changed to 100mbps rm129 but still no prorated or unbilled amount in unifi portal.. Still rm0.00

But if checked in unifi stb menu.. Got unbilled amount -rm20.58
Maybe prorated as my bill cycle on 25th

Is 30mbps rm129 to 100mbps rm129 a downgrade or not? When i went to tmpoint, they said no penalty since we will renew contract for 2 years

Yes. I was told no penalty even though u r under contract.
U can also switch to RM79 30mbps with 60G quota without penalty.
but contract will be refreshed with another 2 years.

Yes, initially the FAQ said 60GB quota only. Later FAQ changed and unlimited  until end of year was added. And supposed to have add-on quota next year. I guess because Maxis  30M is unlimited , they had to do this for now. It is unfair they don't tell about the add-on properly as users cannot decide whether it will be suitable  for their usage. Unless they will eventually leave it as unlimited  later on. Like what they did with the original VIP packages. Maybe they want users to get the higher priced package so they put the quota in for now.

Logged in to my portal to check my order, got this RM202 fee but RM0 in Bill Details. 

My package currently is 30mbps RM179, at most transfer ownsership + prorated also RM10 + less than RM179(prorated)

Yes, internet access with 500 and hypptv with 600.
I just afraid got bill shock, so I mentioned will screenshot and keep the conversation.

He got offended and defensive tho.   

I was doing it in Menara TM which is the HQ leh.
Anyway, another thing to follow up.
They will tell you to ignore. My bill cycle ended yesterday and based on the trend, I will get mine on 18th every month. I can tell you the actual bill will be the same too, just prepare to complain if anything unfair. We wait for the bill to see breakdown.

Im still wondering why my 30mbps still not supporting stream. It is not enough yet? Is 100mbps enough to support streaming or iptv?
