QUOTE(pisces1529 @ Sep 14 2018, 12:37 PM) Ya, even 300mbps is overkill for me. Day time wont utilize since working out, night time only youtube or stream. Puchong Utama also got one TM point...The saving can do something else or maybe subscribe to VPN. Yea. The TM Point at Puchong opposite IOI close shop already, now sure TM is downsizing or what. TAD at Bandar Puteri only for new registration and bill. Sunway pyramid is serving unifi mobile only. For my case, need travel to Kelana or Menara TM. lol |

Anyone successful downgrade their 500mbps or 800mbps to 300mbps or 100mbps, with hypptv plan?? Planning to downgrade my 500mbps to 300mbps since the top speed is just idle most of the time... 500mbps is just overkill, even if fall TV season is back...
What's is the differences between Ruby Plus Pack 2 (RM 40) and Ruby Plus Pack (RM 30)?? Which channels are the difference?? I only found the RM 30 pack info online, can't find any about the RM 40 pack... |

Unifi now roll out the old package again, Unifi Advance and Advance Pro that eligible for turbo upgrade... Since my contract ended (unless turbo upgrade auto renew contract), I'm thinking to terminate my already turbo-ed 500mbps to 30mbps (with new equipment, I don't mind the new 2 year contract too) and wait for the 300mbps turbo upgrade again and save RM 50, I'm paying RM 189 (overcharged RM 10 for my Ruby Pack Plus 2 which is the same hypptv plan as Ruby Pack Plus RM 30 for months, still waiting for them to cut back the price back to RM 30, live chat tossed me to 100, 100 tossed me online) for 500mbps which can't utilize fully... But I'm wonder is there a way I don't need to terminate my current account and straight downgrade to 300mbps without much fuss??!!

QUOTE(mylinear @ Sep 15 2018, 12:19 PM) I don't think its they roll out again. It has been there but just not shown on TM website. Its probably available through agents/resellers or TMPoint upon request. After all, they did say that subscribing to those old packages until end of the year will be eligible for turbo. And no turbo for new package subscription. I think it will take them next year July to roll out the new turbo speed package, if not every pre-turbo user will straight up terminate and reapply to the turbo speed package cause they don't have to wait for the upgrade..You have to check with them if you can switch from your turbo 500M to the old 30M. If not you have to wait until they announce new 300M package later and then downgrade to that. |

QUOTE(1qaz1qaz @ Sep 15 2018, 12:20 PM) yes i did on my phone same result as posted around 80-90mbps Your router port RJ45 for 10/100 BaseT for WAN x 1, RJ45 for 10/100 BaseT for LAN x 4... So max 100mbps.. When you check about speed, please check the port limitation first... Data rate doesn't equal to internet speed...yes i do read the green text on the 1st page and? like i say all my hardware should support 300mbps (other then lan cable will get cat 6 tomoro) mobo using msi z270 gaming plus the lan port power by intel also should be able to support + and my link speed if i set it on 1 gbps i would get connection so i wonder if other then the lan cable will there be other problem making the slow in speed (80-90 mbps) This post has been edited by cwk0713: Sep 15 2018, 12:28 PM |

QUOTE(mylinear @ Sep 15 2018, 12:29 PM) Yes, but this is TM. Who knows what they will do. Even now, they already bring out new 100M. Which is like Lite 10M getting turbo to 100M. So 10M users also don't need to wait till next year for turbo. They can just switch now and pay the same price. Even 30M, 50M and 100M users not waiting for turbo and switching to new 100M. Ya... I just hope sooner rather than later... Cause now I'm paying RM 200 after ST for a speed I can't utilize and overkill, and an overcharged hypptv tv plan for months!!!!!!!This post has been edited by cwk0713: Sep 15 2018, 12:42 PM |

QUOTE(kazekage_09 @ Sep 15 2018, 12:45 PM) I a bit lost here regarding unifi. I'm in the same position with you, but I'm already turbo-ed... But first can your equipment support the 500mbps after upgrade?? i'm thinking downgrade to 30mbps and wait for the turbo again...1. The new 100mps at RM129 not entitle for turbo upgrade right? 2. I on 50mbps RM179. Should I just change to the new 100mbps plan and save about RM50 permonth while double my speed or 3. Just wait for turbo without knowing I will get it? Or is it any way to know whether I will get it? |

Are the HyppTV contract separated with Unifi contract? Cause just now I downgraded my Hypptv plan but need to renew 1 year contract, in the mean time, can I switch Unifi plan with the same HyppTV account without the trigger contract penalty (my Unifi contract already ended)?

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Sep 15 2018, 03:17 PM) I'm curious... Now TM webbie only listing 2 unifi plans - the 30mbps and 100mbps... If you are willing to wait for turbo upgrade...What if a NEW subscriber wants to subscribe to something faster than 100mbps... what then...? https://www.unifi.co/ |

QUOTE(miloaisdino @ Sep 15 2018, 03:38 PM) If they want to get as many new users as possible, that's the least they can do, offered as many plans as possible so people can choose, rather than wait and see will the turbo magically appear... I'm still waiting to see if someone managed to downgrade their package from 800mbps / 500mbps to 300mbps...This post has been edited by cwk0713: Sep 15 2018, 03:45 PM |
