Did anyone track their data usage?
I am just curious how much data everyone here uses.
Based on the annual average, I uses around 8GB per day

Nope......wifi protocol efficiency issue.

With that 1Gbps PHY link speed, your MAC layer speed probably around 500 - 600Mbps.

We only got UniFi last year's May and I relocated my 50Mbps from PJ to Seremban. Then last year can upgrade to 100Mbps with additional RM 10. That said, it wasn't a smooth upgrade because my whole taman only our house was using 50Mbps (the rest were 30Mbps) and when they got order from my account to upgrade to 100Mbps, it was quite challenging for them. After two technical teams tweaking outside and inside of my house only got the speed I requested.

I'm quite pessimistic same thing will happen to my 800Mbps later, should be the only one in taman having this speed.

The one that I saw this wifi card. So u mean there is no way to reach 800mbps on this card using wifi since it is also 2x2. Any cheap good 3x3 card to rrecommend?

The LiFi you knew was prototype and now much better improved.
Even blocked by a walls, you still can surfing internet with LiFi.
and you will need a dongle to surfing internet 2-way, unless phone/notebook manufacturers adopt LiFi and built-it inside.
Also, you no need replace every bulb lights.

Advantages of LiFi, 100x faster than radio-waves WiFi and also safer.
Imagine that FBI and CIA was capturing your wifi packets when they was few hundred meters or kilometers, and hack into you internet REMOTELY.  (NOT theory but it's FACTS)

However, new faults were detected and a reconfiguration was carried out. The complete restoration of the undersea cable took much longer. It was only completed on January 23, 2018. These occasions of AAG disruptions are considered proactive disconnections. [29]

On May 22, 2018, AAG encountered a technical problem, affecting internet connections from Southeast Asia. Repair work began three days later. [30] AAG's connections were restored on June 3, but repair works were continuing until June 5. [31]

Less than 2 weeks after the repair, another incident occurred: AAG connections from Southeast Asia were disrupted again on June 16, prompting the online newspaper VnExpress to make this headline: "Disaster-prone cable drags internet in Vietnam again". It was unclear whether the disruption was caused by a cable breakage or a power leakage. [32] Repairs were completed on July 13, 2018, meaning the AAG cable was out for 4 weeks. [33]

The fourth breakdown of the AAG internet cable in 2018 occurred on August 23rd of that year, due to a power leakage at a point about 250 kilometers offshore the cable’s landing point in Vung Tau.

Currently using Thailand cheap and fast fiber internet, 100Mbps for around rm88... (For this price, you MIGHT get 30Mbps in Malaysia if you're damn lucky)

Malaysia still got a long ways to cathing up regional price range...

Malaysians dont upload, thats our problem, and many ISP plans here are not limited by technology rather follow the greedy american ways of high downloads, slow uploads. We need to upload more and we need better upload speeds, than our internet will be cheaper as other countries will be paying us instead of us paying them.

Er, what to upload ah? Make cat jalanan videos for YouTube? Or more makan videos to tell the world that Singapore didn't invent hawker food culture?
