Actually a Mikrotik router is enough. Is much affordable than other routers
*
Which model works well with Unifi 300Mbps with Unifi Tv?
Is it easy to configure the router?
Which shop is selling this router and what price range?

I now just notice that DIR850L is getting " exhausting" nowadays  bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif  But RT-AC86U is too expensive for me . I saw around RM900 at Lazada while the RT-AC68U is around RM600 -RM700. My budget is around RM400-RM500  blink.gif  . So im dilemma in choosing any router.
*
Try the Asus RT-AC1300UHP. That is quite decent as well and will suit you well, if you don’t want something too expensive. Alternatively, for something cheaper, try the TP-Link Archer C7 v4. That is only RM350.

Yes, but it is unnecessary if you have a small number of devices in your house, and if your house is normal size.
I have average of 10 devices connected in the same time, plus my house is a 3 story, so RT 86U is a compulsary

Upgraded from 50mbps to 500mbps on 17 August. Due to dlink dir-850l issue, i cannot get full speed via WIFI 5G  bangwall.gif
user posted image
*
it is not the 850l issue... you never can achieve max theoretical speed advertised by manufacturer as many factor will lower the speed such as PHY speed, overhead, MAC efficiency and so many...

Turbo-ED to 500Mbps on the first day.

2.4 GHz WiFi - probably can only reach around 100-150Mbps based on my torrent speed

5GHz AC speed test - max 450Mbps only

EDIT
Router is Archer C5

The best part for maxis broadband is all existing MaxisONE Home Fibre customers within contract or out of contract are eligible to change to their choice of a new plan with new contract of 24 months.

Tm don't even bother about existing customer that not eligible to turbo the speed. Pay full price and u don't get turbo.  ranting.gif
*
question is that is the price a perpetual one? or it is reverting to other pricing after 24 months contract? if yes, i will switch to maxis 30Mbps plan also after my contract ends with TM.

Service Start Date
29 Nov, 2017

still got 1 year and 3 months though. sweat.gif

30Mbps at rm89 is actually damn good deal which is what most people really need.

Okay, but if your house is three storey, then RT-AC86U might not even be enough, and you will need one or two additional AP. Anyway, just try RT-AC86U first.

That is normal. 2.4GHz is usually full of congestion and interference, and can’t go high. For your 5GHz, that is also normal.
