Dear Lowyat strollers,

Every one at some stage will have required a Will in preparation to distribute their assets and belongings. bye.gif

The drafting of Will would usually require the lawyers to help us do it. The legal fees charged depends on the complexity of the drafting and sometimes (how black) the discretion of the firm wants to charge. It may be for a range from the lowest RM400 to RM800. The actual legal fee for the drafting may only be RM300, but there will be all sorts of reimbursements, claims, stationary costs, transport..etc that rakes up to an expensive final amount (which is what you'd actually pay at the end). vmad.gif

Certainly, nowadays there are other non-legal agents that provides Will drafting, the cost may not be too far from the same above. I understand even banks offers this drafting of Will to customers, which comes at a much lower rate. Do note, however, that the content of your Will drafted is also at the simplest form and may not have resolved some unforeseen circumstances, e.g what if your Executor and/or beneficiary predeceased you. Customisation is limited too. hmm.gif

For many, perhaps, it may not be a sizeable concern, for those who feel the want to get the same quality of work, I'm here offering the service to draft Wills at an affordable rate. Rest assured on skill & knowledge, I have been admitted to the Malaysian Bar, a proper lawyer. thumbsup.gif

Interested, you could PM or drop an email here at:

Kindly describe briefly how/what you would like to be written in the Will.
You may want to leave your contact number, and we will proceed from there.

Cheers! biggrin.gif

FYI, sharing for my partner who's services offered in personal capacity.

Last year my relatives went to a lawyer to draft a will. But they were advised no need to do that for less than 2million inheritance because once will is done, later all their children has to go through mahkamah to inherit the money and property. Is this true?
