 Xiaomi powerbank auto turn off, when charging a phone

Hi all, hope someone here can help me with this...

i realized that my xiaomi powerbank...even though i connect it to tablet or phone and try to charge my phone...the powerbank will auto turn off after a while....so eventually my phone or tablet will not charge to full...any idea how to fix this?

Yes. It does turn off if power consumption is less than 200mA. I noticed this on my 16K ones.

-try to use another usb cable to charge your devices

-is your powerbank have enough battery to charge other devices?

happened to 1 of my xiaomi 5000mah, since cant charge phone, now just using it as led light battery or fan battery

as per lowyard suggest... try change the cable 1st

both usb port give ur that kind of problem or only one port (assuming u got 2 port)
im using pineng powerbank with 2 port
1.0A => power bank will turn off after a while if charging tablet
2.1A => power bank will turn off after a while if charging phone

but will completely charge if tablet connect to 2.1A port and phone using 1.0A

A few years old ... can't remember but definitely low usage... probably lime use once every 2 weeks on average...

But strangely if connect to the small usb fan.. it works right?? How come eh ...

Thanks guys ... so looks like it is really more to how much current draw and can I say the cable... after many plug and play and over time ... it will degrade and cause less current to flow through and will end up causing this issue where the power bank auto off...
