I feel that notch is too big and ugly. Google needs better hardware designers.

yeah, looks like tallest ( vertical ) notch ever ?
If Google can make tiny notch + slim bezel just like OP6, that may attract many notch-hater biggrin.gif

Memory management are more important. It's easy to see how many of those 6GB RAM phones from ehem manufacturers unable to keep apps in background cool2.gif

That's true. But 4GB, no matter how good the OS can manage, it is still maxed out at 4GB minus the OS usage. Unless memory compression is used (like MacOS) which I doubt so.

It's amusing how the Ukaranian leakers have been selling these pre-production Pixel 3XL units on the black market 2 months ahead of the official release date.

Below is a first hands on review:

URL: https://translate.google.com.my/translate?s...html&edit-text= (Translated from Russian to English).

Comparing the Pixel 2's image quality, I wonder how much better the Pixel 3 will get - perhaps only by a small incremental amount and not by a long shot.

Some noteworthy pointers extracted from the review:

- It's a OLED 6.7 inch screen diagonally (smaller if you include the tall/deep notch) and suffers from the same bad direct viewing angles under direct sunlight (similar to the Pixel 2 XL, it seems)
- According to the reviewer, he claims the quality of the OLED screen is on par with the Iphone X (with a grain of salt) but the brightness isn't sufficient
- The Pixel 3XL now has a 3430 mAh battery (less than the Pixel 2XL's 3,520 mAh)
- Camera samples look good (although it does seem this is still alpha software) & the UI is now similar to that of the Iphone with wordings instead of the current Pixel's icons
- Wireless charging is confirmed (according to this tweet/video: https://twitter.com/khoroshev/status/103224...990441985?s=19)

No joke when people said you can buy anything at Russia laugh.gif

Only thing I love so far are white color made, the glass back transition, buttons etc. While I dont care about those dual camera setup just for so-called bokeh enhancement ( Google able to pull top notch job just using single camera ), I do wish they include a telephoto camera, which can be useful when needed.

Looking forward for dual sim (unlikely) version. Tired of single sim. e-sim also good, later on Maxis will add more supported devices.
