what's your budget?

modified EK with B16A engines and MT short-shifter is the only way to go. the sound of the VTEC opening is heavenly.

man, i miss my old Civic.

Suckiest will be the 1.5 carb engine. SOHC vtec is a also known as small vtec which is a mild version. Dohc vtec is not for faint hearted when the cam open. Normal city driving would not induce the opening of vtec as originally meant at high rpm, around 5800. You pay for what you get you want perfomance, you have to pay both parts and fuel consumption.
