I'm planning to purchase my first house (Prefer new project).
Below are my considerations.
I'm looking for the affordable housing, my budget below RM400k, Condo,3bed 2 bath room, 850sqf-1000sqf, below 34 storey,at least 2 car park, Residential title,Location:Penang Island, Location (Preferable Bayan Lepas)
My plan is like that,will be rent out first and future for own stay. But currently, I've reviewed most of the affordable project, not exactly fit with my requirements,(I know it's quite hard to fulfill all)
but the normal unit it's suit all my needs, just the price will be exceeded my budget, now my concern is the housing price keep rising, should I wait for the project fulfill all my requirements and just go for what I like (but exceeded budget). Actually, I found that some affordable project not really affordable, as any addition for car park need to purchase and some even not allowed to purchase addition. One car park really not enough for current trend. For normal unit, my concern is it worth to top up almost 100k, and will it appreciate in future since now so many project have been launched.

What's your opinion?

rm 400k fir a condo in penang island is unlikely nowaday. Penang island is in the transformation into a mini singapore.

yup, adding another rm100k is more likely to secure a unit there.

Future appreciation is depends on location location location
