I come across a seller selling brand new Olympus Pen PL-8 at a very low price compared to market price (25% lower than market price). However, the warranty given is "Store warranty" instead "manufacturer warranty". I am wondering if it is ok to go on with the purchase and what is the reason behind this low price. Is there something like "AA" product of Olympus in the market? Thank you in advance in shedding some light on this matter.

Store warranty means it's a grey market product. Usually the box will have a warranty card but no one is issuing the warranty so it is useless.
In this case, if anything happens to the camera (i.e. defect) Olympus will not service your camera for free unless you pay. Store warranty means the store will bear the cost of repairing (if they do not lie to you).
If you can take the risk then go for it. I do think the 25% without warranty is better alternative because non of my gear needs servicing until the warranty period is over.
