Overpriced in my opinion, super high profit margin. The material cost and workmanship doesn't justify the price, hence why I never bothered to change my other cars to SS hose after price keep increasing.

The issue has always been the rubber inside that deteriorates rather than the steel braiding outside it. Sometimes kind of skeptical if they used much higher quality rubber hose or just braid the regular hose and charge more for it.

QUOTE(wkc @ Feb 12 2019, 03:26 PM) You only change this? anything else to change? Mind to share where did you change? Well no, I also changed calipers, pads, fluids but you can change the hose only. Last time I bought Speedz Icon Sunway but install at other workshop.

QUOTE(Nasilemak2211 @ Feb 12 2019, 04:25 PM) SS hose doesn’t improve your braking, it improves your “feeling” of braking, makes our brake less rubbery/spongy, but your braking performance is still the same. You want better braking performance, change the rotor/brake pad/piston. I saw before some cross or drill rotor. Does it make the braking better?

QUOTE(wkc @ Feb 13 2019, 12:09 PM) Does it help with changing the caliper? I'm planning to change double layer servo and test it. Changing caliper is actually the biggest improvement for brakes. SS hose only improves the feel just a bit, sometimes even not at all if your original brake hose already pretty good. QUOTE(wkc @ Feb 13 2019, 12:10 PM) I saw before some cross or drill rotor. Does it make the braking better? Don't do the drilling, no use at all but actually can risk cracking the rotor. You can change to slotted ones but that also only improve the initial bite a bit and will accelerate the wear of the pads.
