Is timberland boots have life time warranty? I heard my friends said that Timberland boots have life time warranty if the soles peel off they will help you stick and stitches back...

You won't see the soles tearing off

I dont think got sny shoe company can give lifetime warranty.

One thing u will realise is that very long lasting shoes tend not to be that comfortable. U need some thing in between.

Long lasting soles are goodyear welted, means if u turn and look at the shoe bottom, u can see stitches running all round the sides. Such soles dont fall off unlike those glued on soles. Such shoes more likely will wear out at the top, usually at the big toe area.

okok thanks smile.gif Maybe can survey on those Goodyear Welted soles. Any recommended brand with Goodyear Welted?

Timberland shoes are very pricey in msia. Unless got sale, i dont find them worth buying. Depending on your budget, many brands got goodyear welted design.

Just note that if u want comfy, cushion and bouncy type of sole, they are glued on. They wont last that long but if u can use 2-3 years considered ok lah. Lots of them from HP, Clarks etc

Best kind of leather shoes tend to have goodyear welted leather soles. They are easily > rm500-600 or more.
U can ask cobbler stick a layer of rubber which u can replace when worn. These kind of shoes can last > 10 years. But at the start, they are not comfortable until fully broken in.

But Goodyear welt are quite rare in malaysia....
My budget around 500-600.. and last at least 5 years and above...

U go look at HP and Clarks or other brand. The tapak keras keras one . Check the sole got stitched all round, usually very lasting. I think less than 400 can get. Timberland dont think so unless sale.
