Hi guys, I am wondering should i stick with my original tyre model which is the Continental ContiPremiumContact 2 for 215/40 R17 or should I take a risk and go for the supposedly better and cheaper tyre Hankook Ventus V12evo2 (k120) but the dimensions compromise to 205/45 R17 ?

You can try find Goodyear F1D5, that one has your exact size and similar performance to the V12E2 and better than your current CPC2.

No problem in switching, provided install in pairs on any one axle or two.
