I read some old thread said can jailbreak those 32bit ecu Performance drop-in air filter, Lightened crank pulley, lightened cam pulley, 4-2-1 Extractor and full exhaust, Denso Iridium Spark plugs.. can increase around 12whp easily. QUOTE(akatsukea @ Jan 25 2019, 03:01 PM) Hi, anyone has use this oil? Why on the OP don't recommend it for persona? My ride is persona se 2009 I used before.. somehow engine feels heavy after 4-5k km eventhough its a fully synthetic oil. never had the same issue with Castrol Edge Professional, Liqui Moly, Mobil 1. So i tend to avoid Shell brands.. Most of the original owners in the early days when PE just came out concur with the feel of it too. [/url]BTW RM95 is dirt cheap, u can use this engine oil and change it earlier too, not necessary to wait till 10k km. Changing engine oil frequently is actually the best way to clean your engine internals. Even more better than using Engine flush and all kind of stuffs. I change Semi oil every 5k km and Fully Sync every 7k km. This post has been edited by ZenGTMM: Jan 25 2019, 07:51 PM |

QUOTE(inferno_17_85 @ Jan 21 2019, 11:44 PM) I got it changed in workshop. All together with worksmanship less than 150 ringgit. The gasket less than 100. The rest is worksmanship. i 've gt it changed yesterday. the mechanics changed the valve rubber cover... the parts alone cost me rm60 at proton sc . Not sure the gasket = valve rubber cover or not ?No they don't clean it for me. I'll just clean it on the morning of my off day with dishwasher and brush with cold engine. |

I need one with bluetooth call function to get really clear call quality in car.. Currently am using those cheap AUX in bluetooth receiver but I need to shout for my voice to get through conversation clearly. Anything i should take note for this? |

QUOTE(voscar @ Jan 27 2019, 11:45 AM) walao, ppl here using cap kerang for 17k km, you changed at 1/4 of its life! Lol https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4192241 I bulk buy a dozen Bosch Oil filters for RM68.50 from lazada last time. On top of that I get my engine oil from paulhew in Shoppee. He sells Castrol Edge quite cheap, with coupons and free shipping it only cost RM110+ a bottle. I only drive like 16-20k km a year on average now and per day driving time will be around 2-2.5 hours due to traffic jam. I noticed that my engine torque and acceleration affected a lot after I started getting stucked in traffic jam. Previously i was working in Cyberjaya and to travel from Bukit Jalil to Cyber is by highway and rarely have jam. Hence this is why i started changing engine oil before due time (you are supposed to change engine oil every 6 mths anyway) and my engine power sort of restored a lot. To be honest there are a lot more to engine oil than just the dirt level from an engine oil blot. Engine oil contains friction modifier, detergent, viscosity modifier etc etc which wears out over time from heat and usage. A clear engine oil doesnt show the amount of wear and tear to your engine internals. I used to extend my engine oil service life quite frequently last time when I was a student. my Semi Syn oil would last for 12k km, Fully Syn stretch to 15k km. But the darkness of the oil at each service change scares me. My rule of thumb is, if u feel a major difference in performance after every engine oil service change, you should bring forward your oil change. The extra drag in your engine waste fuel anyways and will just offset the savings you had extending your oil change duration. This post has been edited by ZenGTMM: Jan 27 2019, 09:37 PM |

This is their entry model for bluetooth head unit (without disc playback since I didn’t use it). Been using it for a year and it is great. There are also other brands with similar features and price range depending on your preference. On the other topic, anyone here changed their radio head unit? Best decision ever. It does come with mic which will attached nearby so that your voice can be heard clearly when talking through phone. |

Sometimes just felt that a bit wasted; But after thinking it seriously, for the cleaner engine and performance this is nothing~ |

Is it sufficient for your caller to hear you without installing the mic? Or if you installed it where you stick it to? I'm thinking of sticking it to top of A pillar, at the corner of windscreen, if the headunit cannot do properly without the mic. Thanks in advance. |

AFAIK, if mic is not installed, by default it will use your phone internal mic to capture your voice since the unit doesn't have any mic built in. The quality of course depending on your phone position. If you hold your phone near every time you are speaking through then I guess should be OK.My concern is the call quality. Currently I installed the mic at the exact same location at pillar at the top corner of the windshield. I've never checked the call quality from caller side but so far they didn't raise any concern on the voice quality. I just speak normally as normal phone conversation. |

A lot of people stick the mic at the steering column in front of odometer and AFAIC that's really an eyesore. Thanks again for your advice, shall go for the A-Pillar then!Currently I installed the mic at the exact same location at pillar at the top corner of the windshield. Better try Super circuit by H-Performance at Sunway, quite expensive but maybe a better choice.
