How's Kayaba Silver? Was it very stiff and jumpy for sports car driving type?
*
Yeah, its definitely a lot more stiff. I can feel road bumps hits harder. Cornering a lot more solid and somehow makes the driving less fun than before.

Actually I got thought of changing this KYB RS last time, coz usual KYB Proton or KYB original mostly lasted less than 3 years on my car, always leaking oil for the front.

But then, my parent sometime using this car, too stiff or harsh suspension may not comfortable coz sometime he'll drive more than 30km to another town. So I still stick back KYB original on last replacement.

This is sharing of a shitty incident happened to me.
So i serviced my car 2 weeks back + balancing aligmnent

A week after that i noticed slight undercariage sound.
Go diagonose at mechanic.
he say sound due to drive shaft + wheel bearing (1 biji).
He did jack up the car to check for the issue.
After change sound still ada.
Check and check for another 2 hours next day.
Noticed chamber nut not lock properly after aligment.
HABIS 700 for early maintenance .

Just got my extractor changed after smelling exhaust smell in my car porch. Now can't even get new parts for that and resort to second handed extractor.

Crack occurs at the infamous right hand side branch.

Find a good shop for balancing and alignment and stick with that shop is all I can say....
Some shop aim for faster service, I noticed they don't even bother to center the steering wheel. That was the last time I ever went there.

Check front lower arm ball joints. If knocking sound when go over bump, then check also front suspension link. Another possibility is your tyre rub against daun pisang. Happens when one of the clip loosen.
*
Hey you were right. Daun pisang was loose. Part of it even melted from the friction with the tire lmao. Quick fix with some plastic clipa solves the issue.

I didnt bother to check it before, only send to mechanic. Today sound happen when slowly turning left at, immediately saw the daun pisang was not in its place.

Hi Sifu, would like to ask, my persona sv 2014 use all 4 tyres disk brakes.
i hear noise sound when brake, so i go check with mechanic.
He told me my front disk calar and my rear disk bengkok.
1. meaning i have to change both all disk fron and rear is it and also change brake pad as well?
2. What brand you recommend and what brand to avoid?

Thanks in advance.
as i'm in tight budget, only can change disc and brake pad after raya.

Technically when you change rotor, you should change new pads as well due to the requirement of surface fitting between them.

But if the thickness is sufficient, you still can skim the rotor, but still need new pads for your front set.

Yet, if financially stretched, still can pakai one, will lower performance and the sound.

I tend to avoid Bosch branded brake pads. Banyak fake one and cannot tell apart.

I fully recommend getting ceramic brake pads from AFI brake, their brand is Ceramate. Uses the same brake pad as gen2. Silent, no dust and consistent braking feel similar to original pads.

Dont waste your time with any metallic brake pads that causes a lot of dusts.

Cornering got noise usually drive shaft faulty.
Your location? If near PJ can go Mech Tech Engineering, old school style machine shop doing drive shaft repair works, but many cars there so need to be early.
