TBH, the persona sv that i am having now is problematic haha. I have replaced so many things for this 4 years old car . Buy, luckily all small problem Pls dont ask me to chnage car, no money Maybe sv = cheap version ? so the quality is questionable compared other version of Persona ?
interested to know also, my gen2 nowadays on hot day also AC not hot, night still ok cool, like seasoning aircond. 4 years back i serviced my ac with same symptom also, that time mechanic said aircond expansion valve blocked due to long time no service, changed to denso unit cold for 4 years now same problem back. so louzy only tahan 4 years only...
change but not do preventive maintenance, deswai so lousy. every year need to do normal service service. (change compressor oil, gas, receiver drier, expansion valve) within every 3-4 years, need to do major service. (open dashboard, inspect / wash cooling coil, condenser, etc.)
change all the aircond parts systems and hope to last long, that is not a good mindset. doing a preventive maintenance on your aircond systems juts like you do engne oil change, really do keep it last longer.
when car is even new, after a year use also need to do service, that is most new car owners neglect.

Dont really have one in mind as I have never serviced my aircon before. But there is one nearby my house that my friends goes to and its quite good. But its in Taman Puncak Jalil every year seems abit extreme right? I think every 3 years seems more appropriate.
Btw my car is 8.5 years old and never had an aircon service before and its still cold.
every year service is appropriate, if look at how long you use your car + aircond in a day/week/month. if frequent use, so once per year is good.
there are two types of service, 1 is normal service, another is major service.
whatever reasons all say, "aircond still cold, no need service" is one of common mistake car owners did.

Persona IAFM has two fans up front, the smaller fan next to the radiator fan is for the AC, check if that one is spinning when AC is engaged.
Also even if the fan is spinning also doesn't mean it is spinning fast enough.
Your symptoms sound like the AC fan in front kong or losing power.
he should go aircond workshop do inspection.

Sounds like your condenser not dissipating heat as good as before already. I heard from mechanic if your air cond turns cold when you spray water on condenser unit, it's the condenser problem.

yes, it's a closed system, so meaning if aircond not cold, it means gas leaking somewhere. no need ask topup gas because already leaking what for topup. why need service? because inside airocnd got oil for compressor to work smoothly. when you neglect service, oil become bad, and make it clogged then it tends to leak. worse it you will forcing the compressor to work harder until one day it will be rosaked. see video understand more. i ask you simple question, why you change engine oil, power steering oil, brake oil, radiator coolant, gearbox fluid etc when you say it's a closed system? hope i make you clarify about it.

Having the same problem with central locking, gila as it will suka2 locked while I am still let the door open triggered the alarm system. Now I just locking it manually and bought the steering lock as a theft precaution.
if its locked only and not auto unlock still ok for me.
my saga same like you, after unlock, still auto lock after a few seconds even after open door. just make sure car key still in hand, just in case.
Not really have knowledge on this. But y need to disable the butterfly? I thought it's a set pair together with the IAFM unit?
disable the butterfly is cost lesser than change whole set IAFM. change new IAFM still the problem will haunt back. disable the butterfly = use back old IAFM but with side effect, like powerwoot say.
Hi sifus, my persona got problem with signal. Not blinking when indicate left or right, however, double signal and lock/unlock car signal working.
Did some research and found out something to do with relay, is that right? Please advice, and thx in advance.
according to my saga, there should be a fuse for turn signal. check that first. fuse box located at dashboard near steering. then there is 1 fuse for alarm / turn LH and 1 fuse for alarm / turn RH. but highly possible is the turn signal fuse.
Found the fuze box, saw a black colour square box with 3 pin on it. I believe that was the relay and I went and plug it out and put it back in, now my signal work just fine.
what relay did it mention anyway?

yup, you heard that alright, rm140/pc and bought 2 pcs replaced my front Rovelo. Not even 2 years my Rovelo almost botak. The grip is just excellent if I am going to compare the previous. My rear tyres are still good, GY Eagle NCT5 and I am looking forward to replaced it to the same as in front.
if never do tyre rotation, tyres at front will wear out fast. as you know front tyres tend to wear out faster than rear tyre due to the weight of the engine in front.
i like you before, change only front tyres, then new one put at rear, the old rear put to the front. then when the time comes, i change all 4 tyres then start do tyre rotations. currently all 4 tyres are wear out evenly.

I am just about to do the tyres rotation and the mechanic showed me the condition of the threads. He said to me, Rovelo used soft rubber, it's cheap but worn faster compare to other manufacturers. The price is rm115 and can still bargain to lower than a hundred, but decided to take the GY instead.
tyre rotation should start from the beginning when change new same brand tyres, then continue do every 10k mileage recommendation and when the tyre condition is good.
that is the proper way to do tyre rotation and how to get properly wear out all 4 tyres.
imo, to get the best experiences on GY triplemax, you should get it on all 4 tyres. anyway, it' all on your decision.
p/s: this is based on my noob non car guy experiences anyway.
