My laptop is experiencing random sudden fps drop when dota and other games, from ~110 drop to 0 fps and rise back only to drop again a few seconds later. I am using an asus rog laptop so i can see that my gpu memory usage is very full when all these happens from the game centre. But sometimes juz playing light weight game it also has this kind of problem

I am using a laptop with specs below :
Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ CPU@2.80GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GDDR5@4.0GB (128-bit)
12GB RAM

Help me fix this problem please

I hope that by this time you have resolved your issue. However, if not, then I have searched something for you. Please go through the following steps:

First of all, you have to perform Clean Install of the graphics card driver that may do the trick.

Then, go to the Device Manager and uninstall the Nvidia graphics driver.

Now, open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to Nvidia.

Download and install latest driver. You can download it from nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

Now, reboot the system once the driver has been completely installed.

After the reboot, do set Nvidia as the default GPU.

Here’s how you can do: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/det...and-settings%3F

Hope the above steps will resolve your issue.

Good Luck!
