QUOTE(x800 @ Mar 29 2021, 10:38 AM) Thanks for the info, I'll keep this in mind Just wanted to play around with the hardware, its as fun as playing games on the hardware (at least for me)..and I dont play games much these days anyway That said, I might as well wait for desktop cezanne, hopefully still monolithic die ye keep cezanne in focus then, some chips already selling on eBay... not many experiences just yet though.

QUOTE(nrw @ Mar 29 2021, 10:12 AM) I still have a 4650G over here. Just an average chip though. In your experience, do they OC as well as 3000 series? I'm thinking to get 4750G for 8c/16t + Vega 11.

Turns out that my "2nd best" SR B-die is able to offer higher RAM clock DDR4-4800 18-22-22-42-1T @ 1.50v Again, the subs are all auto and needed to be tuned for efficiency.

QUOTE(goldfries @ Mar 30 2021, 11:07 AM) Do you find IFB 1:1 or off 1:1 better? In terms of 1080p gaming, so far based on my testing DDR4-4800 and 5000 unsynced and untuned (IF 1:2) gave slightly higher min FPS but slightly lower average FPS compared to 3800 synced (IF 1:1). Slightly = 1-2 FPS. But I've yet to test the performance differences between 3800 synced vs unsynced with the same B-die DR kit. Give me one night for benching and I will update here. The average ones slightly better then the early launch Matisse chips. With Cezanne around the corner I'd probably see if waiting is worthwhile or not. Or have a look how RocketLake with their new UHD 750 IGPU (i5-11500 and above) is doing. Matter of fact I received a i5-11500 today and will start testing it late this or next week when I have the time doing so. This post has been edited by nrw: Mar 30 2021, 02:15 PM

What RAM dies does the Klevv Bolt X (not XR) 3200/3600 use? Don't want to end up with AFR/MFR kits if I can, looking for a cheapo option to max out overclocking on Ryzen now that Micron revE dual rank isn't cheap to buy from Amazon anymore.

Generally for KLEVV Bolt/CRAS, Lower than DDR4-3200 is AFR/MFR 3200-3466 is CJR 3600-4000 is DJR Sources: https://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/threa...0jJUJeKDeRs7XiMhttps://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/...memory.6029729/https://www.win-raid.com/t8138f51-Review-Kl...KD-AGU-A-U.htmlThis post has been edited by owikh84: Apr 6 2021, 12:19 PM

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Apr 6 2021, 12:12 PM) Thanks for the links. HWZ seems to imply some 3200 kits can also be AFR/MFR which is what I want to avoid - guess I'll have to target the 3600 kits then.
