My current phone is 16+16GB . Currently,.having problem to upgrade due to insufficient memory. Kinda realised SD card storage can't fully utilised. Most auto use internal phone, memory.

Mind recommend a cheaper phone wit 128GB Internal storage? Android. Mainly for gps and browsing only.. And singing

I not sure... like my current sd card is only 40% utilised.
Android apps update etc kinda eat more space.

And I normally change phone every 1.5_2years....
Not frequently change

if u dont install many apps, 32gb or 64gb is more than enough.
pictures all save at sdcard.

whatsapp may take lots of space if u keep alot of chats/history. if nothing important better delete chats or atleast delete the media received via whatsapp

Ask yourself how many you've installed on previous phone. How many you actually use out of all apps installed in your phone? I bet not even half. biggrin.gif

Cheapest 128GB would be the old ZenFone 2 Deluxe or ZenFone Zoom. Both suck battery like no tomorrow but dirt cheap in the used market. Easily below RM 500. Some came with boat loads of accessories from previous owners.

that is caused by the MIUI skin they used. This one is will be running pure android without all the miui nonsense. GPS should work great

Good idea, since os eat up 8gb of internal memory.
But I'd say 32 - 64 enough. More than that, its gonna lag

The 16G is small. The reason is the OS itself resides in that storage but was not told to customer laugh.gif Even when nothing is installed, the usable storage probably half already. The same goes to the RAM. Now I think 3GB is borderline requirement.

Memory bigger is better, some memory type will start lagging once the usage reached 70%.

How many social media apps you are using now? These are the apps that eat most RAM. If it is running okay now, then I think 4GB should be suffice because very unlikely new social media will survive competing with the giants smile.gif

Since you are mostly browsing, it should be enough I think. Now, 6GB is quite common on flagship probably due to customize GUI.

This is because your storage is running low. I think insufficient memory does not mean RAM but storage. The program downloaded and installed first before the old apps get deleted to prevent failure if upgrade failed halfway.

I'm using 3GB RAM and 32GB storage for many many years. Still on old Note 3 laugh.gif No cover no screen protector from day 1. Still looks decent despite discolored bezel metal frame.

Maybe new Huawei P20 will last you 2 years +... 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Note I did not use ROM because ROM is Read Only Memory, wrongly used term for the phone biggrin.gif

20Gb+ are the movies I download online but forget to delete later. Im not a photographer/selfie fanatic. I just want a good battery phone with enough ram for my usage but dont phablet size phone rclxm9.gif
