Hello.

I have a colleague who loves film SLRs only from Nikon.

So I'm planning to get one for her. I was in Garage Sales and I came upon two Nikon film SLRs.

Nikon F55 and Nikon F60d.

May I know which one is better? I'm a total noob in photography let alone film SLRs.

Your advise would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Aim for something higher.
Like F75 or F80, which is around RM500 or less (body only).

its for his colleague, and some ppl are really film enthusiast, they dont mind spending money on films. and IMO the limitations of film really helps in picking the right compo when u shoot. haha wink.gif

btw, to TS, yeah aim something like the like F75 or F80. But, the Nikon F55 and Nikon F60d will do well too. If she's those fine art lover i think mostly the cameras suggested will do.

if the skill's already polished.
one can easily get 8 out of 10 shots sharp & well exposed.
so why worry about film cost? btw, it only cost RM5 or lower per roll of Kodak at C4 during sales & clearance.
