So far been using TCL C655 that I bought for RM1569 on Shopee. Don't forget to update the TV when you get it.
Just changed some settings for Movie mode following RTINGS, then adjusted contrast to my liking and TV looks great. Doesn't have the weird super red colour on the previous model.
The speaker is just okay, maybe the extra cash can be used for a soundbar/speakers but for me it's good enough.
The fake 120Hz mode is also just okay, it feels a bit smoother but can't beat a true native 120Hz TV.
It has Google TV running Android, so can install any apps or sideload. It's not laggy but it takes a bit of time responding to your button inputs sometimes.
I'll not be using it most of the time and instead be using an Apple TV for most of my streaming apps.

Overall, for the price, I feel like this TV is a good buy. Got 2 years warranty and even if this TV only lasts for 2-3 years, I'm okay with it as can just buy another one for the price.

Hi,

Just wondering what the viewing angles are like since the C655 is said to be using VA panels? I've not been able to see one
in person at a store here in JB.

Hi bro,

Sorry for going off-topic but how has your experience been with the QNED91 model? There is hardly any local reviews
and I have been to 3 LG retailers who did not have a unit on display. I understand the 65 and 86 inch models are for
their retail outlets while the 75 inch model is only under the Puricare plan. The closest reviews I can find are for their
QNED90T model which is the North American version on RTINGS

Cheers!

Hi guys,

Can I ask if the C845 is still a decent buy in 2025? I understand it does not get the newer and more powerful Pentonic SoC
compared to 2024 models for our local market but how is its overall performance and picture quality for general usage? The
price for a 75 inch version seems to have dropped below RM 7K so I am just wondering if it will be a better purchase than a
75 inch Sony X90L going for about RM 7.5K at a local store. I understand it's not a fair comparison between a Mini-Led and
a FALD TV but the X90L is still a pretty impressive TV on its own.

Cheers,
V.

Hi everyone, my old LG Nano75 just broke. I'm thinking of trying TCL since I've seen a few positive reviews about the brand online. Could you help suggest which model I should buy? I primarily use it for watching 4K movies and playing PS5. Thanks in advance!

What TV size are you looking at and what sort of budget are you working on?

I think you can easily get a C655 in 55 inch for that budget and maybe even the 65 inch version for a bit more
above that budget if you shop around. Prices seem to be better in Klang Valley from what I have seen so far ...
